Beta #3 18dp3dt: 2003

What do beta #s mean after the first & second are determined good ones? I can understand seeing it double but is there any evidence out there that suggests they are looking for anything else? I was just wondering...

Holy crap Barbara!!!! That is so wonderful!!! I'm wishin you all the luck in the world - well not all of it - but a lot of it, for a great beta number tomorrow!!!!

Patricia, they want to make sure that the beta is still rising adequately. Looks good!

Sarah, that tat sounds really neat!

Sue, I hope AF comes really soon! That job for your dh sounds great!

Jaime, I hope you get some answers from the bloodwork. Maybe it will be something that lovenox/heparin can help. I know you're gonna have you little one very soon.

Hi everyone!

Kristen, how are you? hope the tropical storm doesn't hit y'all too hard!

cupcake--your beta is right on track for what you should be right now

Barbara--I am soo glad for you the digital is definate, they need 50ul to register a pregnancy
Jaime--I have a friend who had to do heprin for each of her pregnancies..if that is what is needed, I hope it works.

have to say you ladies are brave w/ the tattoos. I can only manage henna, but often think about it. Maybe if I get really really drunk...hehe...but not for 8mos.

Ok, I could not wait so doing my scan tomorrow. I will post when we have a better answer.

Barbara – YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Can’t wait for beta tomorrow….it will just confirm what we already know….YOU’RE PREGNANT (but the TRUE question is with how many??).

Patricia – Awesome 2nd beta. So glad things are going so well with you!

Janice – Sorry it’s taken me a while to get around to answering your question, but it’s not really normal for gum tissue to be falling off – even while you’re pregnant. While I don’t think it’s emergent, it may be something you may want to point out to your dentist at your next visit. When are you due for your next check up?

Tami – Sorry you work with such jerks. It really sucks that some people need to make the place that you spend 40 hours a week so miserable!

Sue – Hoping and praying that Flo comes soon for you. Are you wearing your whitest pants daily? I also hope that things pan out with DH’s job…sounds like an awesome opportunity. Oh – and my husband ALWAYS tries to keep me off the computer. I always feel so guilty getting this forum – I feel like I’m ignoring him. Well…I don’t feel THAT guilty.

So…my report is that I’m on day 3 of stims. I go in tomorrow for b/w and u/s. I’m anxious to see where thing are.

Amy, I think it was just a little tiny piece that fell off because it had spearated from my tooth a little. It feels back to normal now. I actually just had a cleaning and check up last week . Maybe I hadf a chip that irritated that spot.

Jen- My ultrasound is scheduled for next friday, 8/15. I am excited because I get back from my trip on the 13th in the evening so I will be preoccupied until then.

Amy- Best of luck with the stims!

Barbara- Let us know asap to how great that beta is!

Tam- Can't wait to hear on your multiples!

Janice- I hope you aren't continuing to have pieces of your gums fall out. Your post freaked me out! Like you need to be worrying about other things right now!

Hope all of the other ladies (and dudes) are doing well.

Barbara- that is great news!! Congrats!!! um, if digital says it...you are !

Jen - my DH is now a project manager for a utilities company. He is a former military policeman, and has a masters in security and his MBA...so his job is hard to explain - but mostly project management now...I think DH may be meeting with one of the guys from the company in Broomfield on Monday since we will be in Denver anyway...so things strangely fall into place sometimes...Are you near Broomfield? I don't know much about the Denver area - DH used to live in Colorado Springs so I know that area better. I'll have to do some research!

Janice- eeek! the tooth thing freaked me out too! I hope you are feeling better!

Amy- how are you feeling on stims? I wish I was stimming!!!!!! (okay, sorry for the outburst:-)) I just hate being on break (you just went through this - doesn't it suck?). I sometimes feel bad that DH doesn't want me online either, but I tell him I just check up on the March thread and then sign off:-) It somewhat placates him...

Since DH is away for a few days and I have 2 days off, I am off to visit my mom...she lives in the middle of the high peaks (Adirondacks) so I am taking the dogs and will hopefully have a nice few days...though I am dreading seeing my SIL (my bro and SIL live nearby too)....but at least my mom is happy that I am visiting her...

Oh, Sarah- the tribal turtle sounds great! I haven't gotten DH to take a pic yet of my tat- but I will- anyway, it is a curvy tribal lizard:-)

Have a great few days everyone!

Barbara-thinking about you today. I won't be able to check until I get home from work. Got everything for you!

Sue-Broomfield is shaped a little funny, but basically I am the next town north of it. My mom lives in Broomfield, about 6.5 miles away. My gym is in Broomfield about 8 miles away (and that is about 8 miles from my mom). But yes, if you move there, we will be very close! Denver is south of Broomfield. I think of Broomfield as more of a suburb of Boulder than Denver. Boulder is way cooler IMO, and right up against the mountains. We are about 1.5-2 hours north of Colorado Springs.

The wait begins......

Jaime - how did you know I use to be a cheerleader I am the one on top too...LOL

Yoga- Have a good time visiting your mom. Ignore the others - Think HAPPY thoughts when there around.
Say the old Jack Gleason "honeymooners" - Ralph said
needles and pins,
pins and needles
a happy man is a man that grins -
See if that works.

Thanks jen- Have a good day at work. How is work? Are you liking it there?

Katy - you too how is your job?
