WooHoo Barbara!!!!! Congrats! Don't obsess about the number. If you read a lot of the posts around this place, betas really range for successful pregnancies.

I wish I could give you hug in person!

Barbara - Glad you're taking a positive outlook! I'm sure everything will be fine, but I know that's not going to stop you from worrying. I know Thursday can't get here soon enough for you. Doesn't it seem like you can never stop worrying??!!? What an emotional price we all pay for all of this - it's a wonder we're all still sane (well at least marginally sane).

Janice - Glad the gums are back to normal! I can't believe you're already in your 17th week. Yikes! Seems like we were just awaiting your beta.

Tami - I'll say an extra prayer for you tonight that all goes well and that at least one of your little beans hangs in there.

Bethany - Glad you stopped in. I miss you on this thread and think of you often.

Got the call from the doc. They're having me up my Gonal F from 150 IU to 300 for the next 2 days and then I return for b/w and u/s on Thursday. They said my E2 levels were still low, but I'm not too concerned - with my last cycle by the time I got to ER I was soooo sore and my E2 was close to 4800! I'll keep you all updated.

Barbara-your beta is fine for where you are at! You are pg hun! I'll keep praying for a doubling beta on Thursday. There are many girls with lower first betas and they now have babies!

Tam-it does sound like vanishing twin. very common. Your other bean is doing great and there is no reason to think otherwise. Rachael (Just Peachy) from my other thread had vanishing twin, and now she has a 6 month old. Susan also had vanishing twin and she is about to give birth any moment!

I know you guys may think differently about what I am going to do. But I have to do it and I have to do it tomorrow. I have turn the frowns upside down for my family. Its my one opportunity. I keep saying I believe in my faith with God. I have to do it.

My dh and my 3dd's and my oldest dd's bf he has been her bf for 6yrs now. He was also my sons best friend.

I went to the cemetary today and I placed a big poster board with my sons picture on it with a sign that says
"Mommy is having a baby"
By doing it at the cemetary it makes my son a part of the great news. ( I am not sure if guys can understand my reason for me doing it this way.)

I wont tell everyone else for awhile... Until I at least graduate to ob.

Tami- I am sorry that it isn't triplets and that it may be a vanishing twin. I do believe that your baby will make it and thrive. Just to add another story to the list, my sister had a vanishing twin and the remaining baby is now 12 years old. Thinking of you.

Amy- I love hearing that you are cycling again. You are in my thoughts and this is YOUR turn!

Barbara- I understand, and even if I didn't, it is your family and your life. You know what the right decisions are. I am soooo happy for you!!!

I start lupron on Monday, Aug. 11. But then it still will be a wait until Sept. for our egg donor's retrieval. But at least I will be doing something!

Thanks Kate! So glad you're starting here soon too - seems like we've been waiting a LOOOOOONG time, but I've got to say it has passed relatively quickly (I think the past 4 months will probably seem like they have passed much faster than my 2ww will). Thinking of you too and praying that this is OUR turn!

hey ladies, wow a lot goes on in 24 hours!!!

Carrie - i so believe the third time is the charm, i am right there with you. this time next year we are going to be holding our little ones!!!! good luck sweets!!!

tam - i am so sorry about the stress that you are under. i would agree wit the other ladies that you have a vanishing twin - your one little guy is doing so well and they are so small right now being off by one day is nothing!!! as for the other one, it sounds like a blighted ovum, what i had in july, your body just reabsorbed it but it shouldn't hurt your other little bean at all. you and Bob are in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Barbara - like i said on the other thread, CONGRATS girl!!! i wouldn't worry about your low beta, just as long as it doubles. and i think it is wonderful that you are still having your son be part of your experience.

amy - congrats on the stimming. you are going to get some wonderful follies - i am sure that you are on your way to your BFP!!!

Kate - congrats on starting lupron, i am sure that it feels good that you are actually able to do something

still just hanging out, praying that the lab is able to get our testing done in enough time to do the sept cycle. i might just have to find out where the lab is and start stalking i hope that you all have a great wednesday!

Yay Amy and Kate for getting started!

Tam-the heparin is a blood thinner. It is used in people, like me, with blood disorders. I only took it for the first trimesters, some take it throughout pregnancy. I am also on baby aspirin. Sometimes they give one or both to those with multiple m/c to in case there is a issue with blood clotting causing the m/c.
