I think I may need to have a car wash to pay for all of this. LOL! I have to keep my humor or I have nothing.

I hope you all are feeling well and getting through the injections, the wait, the anticipation, etc.

sweetie, i am glad that your DH will be there for you. i will keep you in my prayers. do you have someone there for a shoulder until DH comes home?

is there a reason why she said that you will not be able to try again this year. - you should be able to do the karotyping once your beta hits zero and then the results come in 4 - 6 weeks and then you can start again... or is there something else that she wants you to do. not that i am pushing you to start again, but it has been one of the things that has helped me deal with everything. please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers

I don't know why we would have to wait so long. Maybe with the D&C, AF, testing, etc. there just isn't enough time. My nurse said we could probably squeeze one in. I'm going with her thoughts and not the RE's.

Not really anyone here I can talk to. I think the tear well is dried up for now. I know that tomorrow will be difficult, and the RE said that afterwards I will crash emotionally. Looking forward to that!! When DH gets home things will be better.

Jana - why can't you try again this year? Unless she has a good reason, I would get a second opinion on that. Like Jamie said, that would keep my hope alive. Continuing to pray for you and I'm glad Pat will be home tonight.

I think she's just covering her bases. I'm not worried. My nurse is awesome....she'll get me in there if possible.

i would stick with what your nurse said as well, i was only 8 weeks but my beta was zero within two weeks, you may have to wait a little longer then you have the testing, 4-6 weeks, and then you can start... i like the idea of your nurse.

and i understand that the tear well is dry, have you found yourself randomly just starring at your walls. looking back, i wish i would have wrote some of the things i was going thru down, just to get it out. i am glad your DH will be home tonight, take comfort in each other's strength

It may sound silly, but I sat down last night a wrote a letter to our unborn child. I know it wasn't a baby yet, but to us it was. I just needed to get all my feelings out.

Jana- thinking of you

Jamie- I'm glad that you are starting your BCPs again

Liza- good to hear from you

Ladies, my summer is over. I start inservice for FIVE days tomorrow. My baby is starting kindergarten next friday. Boo hoo...

No news from me, I'll probably wait until the beginning of Sept to bother/e-mail my social worker to see what's going on.

Hi Sarah! In-service sucks...I've got 2 1/2 more weeks before school starts.

Jamie - the crazy thing is, I have GAINED WEIGHT. WTH???? I'm walking and eating great. It's crazy (and it stinks!). But the important thing is my bloodsugar levels are much better.

Jana - I believe babies are babies before they are even thought of by you!

Hope everyone else is well.

Liza, have you done measurements? Don't think just because you've gained you haven't lost inches. Maybe your putting on muscle.

Nope no measurements. I don't need any more muscle, ugh! It's depressing but I'm not too upset since the goal is to get lower blood sugar readings and that's working. We'll see!
