I have to admit I have gotten more quiet on this thread lately. I want to be here for support for you, Liza, Janice and anyone else cycling now. I just don't have any updates on my own condition to add. We are in a holding pattern until late summer. UGH! The only thing I am working on is trying to lose weight and I have cheated a few times, so that isn't going too well. Hey! Maybe I can post here with some of my Weight Watchers progress instead of posting fertility progress. Would that be okay?

sounds like a great idea.

Kate........I think the WW idea is great. I have tons of those booklets lying around. I was losing on it when I found out about all this IVF stuff. Here's a tip from me...........One thing I try to do when the apples are good around here is to eat an apple while cooking dinner. The fiber from the apple helps to fill me before eating dinner. We also bought smaller dinner plates. That way we don't over fill our plates. I need to get back in the habit of journaling what I'm eating.

I've talked to Kristie through email. She's doing good. They are going to pursue adoption in a couple of months. Just taking some time before they do.

Yes I am! I am doing the core plan. I did the flex (points) plan years ago and really was successful with it. This time I didn't want to count so much and wanted to eat better food choices. Which plan are you doing? I am also an online member. My weigh in is on Sat. I am a bit scared this week because I had such a bad weekend while we were away.

I am doing the flex plan, i dont think i would do very well at only being able to eat certian things! I do not go to any meetings, maybe i should and then i might stay on it longer then i do because i would have some people to answer to if i didnt! how do u like the online meeting group?

There are no meetings for online. You just have to enter your weight into the site on the designated day. It also allows me to use the online food plan manager. It is pretty cool. My biggest downfall is laziness. I get hungry and don't feel like cooking so I eat whatever is fast and easy.

I may have to switch back to flex if I don't make any progress with core. I may need more structure. With core, I can only eat certain things but I have weekly points to use for food that is not on that list. The points go fast though.

The Weight Watchers site has forums and I have joined challenges in the past where you post everyday with a group of people to support each other. It helped a lot.

Jamie – I’m thinking of you and hoping that you get some good news at your appt today. Please let us know what’s up with you.

Cathy – Hang in there! I’m sure Saturday will bring you some good news. Try to go easy on yourself. Go get a manicure / pedicure or have a massage. Those things definitely take your mind off what you’re going through (even if for a short time).

Jana – I’m working on losing weight now too in preparation for my FET mid-June so it looks like we’re on the same page. Apparently I don’t think you’re crazy. The days seem to be creeping by don’t they? At least summer is just around the corner and nice weather seems to just make time fly by. June will be here before we know it. Good luck with your b/w results.

Kate and Leanne - Good luck on the WW thing....Maybe we should post a separate thread on weight loss. I've lost 3 lbs. in the past week on my Seattle Sutton plan and am feeling less lumpy.

The apple thing is a great idea. I like apples and have a bunch on hand. I have to admit that I am too lazy to cut them sometimes (I can't eat them whole, I can't bite into things like that- my teeth bother me if I do). I do have one of those apple slicer thingamabobs. I have to drag that out. Thanks for the tips!

It would be great if we could all help each other through this too- it seems like Amy, Leanne, you and me are trying to lose weight right now.

I haven't heard of Seattle Sutton. I am going to look that up. Do you like it? I know there are some plans that I could just never do out there. I am not an Atkins girl, for example. Congrats on the 3 lbs!!! That is awesome!

Hi! I'm back!!! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I packed for a 2 week trip, got stuff caught up with work and traveld to Houston. I'm also a little discouraged about my first cycle so I've been staying away a little.

Cathy, I am praying that your follies grow, grow, grow! How many days do you normally stim? Maybe your RE will keep you on the stims longer until your e2 goes up. Did they day anything about your lining? My bmi is over 30 and I just keeping gaining weight since starting this cycle stuff. Maybe the weight has something to do with it. I was on my way to getting my bmi below 30 until the IF diagnosis...

Jana, I think you're on the right track. From your pic, you do not look overweight at all. I know that from the amount of exercise you do, it sounds like you're in good shape which is probably the most important thing. I think though that from certain studies, it's been proven that the optimal bmi for IVF is between 20 and 25. I will never get that low, but I guess the closer the better. I hope and pray that your FET goes well and you get your bfp!

Kate, I think posting your WW progress would be great! As soon as I get through with this cycle, positive beta or negative, I am going to do my best to get back on WW. I know that WW is one of the only eating plans you can do while pregnant and still be healthy.

Jaime I hope you and your husband find peace and gain strength through everything you have been through. I hope your RE has some good insight today.

Jen, I hope that the job stuff goes well! It sounds like they're going to make you an offer if they're contacting your references.

Hi ladies!!! Leanne, Liza, Sarah, Kristen, Barbara, Dude, AmyR, Amy, Lisa, Tanya, Heather, Sue, Tam, DaBob and Carrie I hope y'all are having a great day!

Ok so here's my update: I went in yesterday morning and I only had 8 follies growing somewhat evenly. I have 3 follies on the right between 13 and 16 and 5 on the left between 13 and 15. There are 4 more follies, 2 on each side that are a litle below 10 right now. My e2 is 814 and my lining is at 12.3 with a triple stripe. It sounds like my lining is too thick. I don't know! I'm taking so many drugs and I don't have that many eggs. I'm a little discouraged...Does anyone know if you can have to thick of a lining? I really hope I get pregnant. If not, AF is going to be a b*itch! I go in again on Saturday for a u/s and bw. My dh will be here tonight! Yay! I can stop doing my shots by myself!
