Patricia-glad to see you and baby are doing okay. Bleeding does happen. It sucks. But glad it isn't affecting the baby. I hope the spotting stops very soon.

Patricia - I'm relieved to hear the baby is fine. Good luck with the bedrest.

Carrie - I'm glad that info was helpful. Infertility sucks no matter what, but at least when you have an explanation, you can also figure out what your options are. I'm glad you finally have an explanation.

patricia - i am so happy that the baby is doing good and Paul newman movies sound like a good way to pass the time. I can't believe they told you all that stuff that could happen and then said don't worry, don't they know that is what IF is all about and we are really good at it. You will continue to be in my thougths and prayers

Patricia - I'm so sorry about the continued bleeding, but I'm so glad that you and the baby are doing fine! I hope you get your 48 hours without bleeding soon, soon, soon. Until then, keep enjoying those movies!

I have to say, if the doctors raise one more "concern" and say one more time "don't worry about it," I'd probably come out swinging. If they're going to tell you about something and tell you not to worry, they should explain how rare it is for things to be a problem down the line (maybe the vast majority of higher hcgs at this point don't end up high by 24 weeks, right?). Anyway, I'm sorry you keep getting the "don't worry" line. Very frustrating for those of us who already have a phd in worrying about all this stuff!

I hope everyone else is doing well. I haven't caught up on much of what's been going on, so sorry if I'm missing some major news (I definitely got the Kate and Dude awesome news on the various other threads).

Next week I go in to find out whether the placenta has moved from near my cervix. I was actually given the "don't worry" line with that one, but they said that 95% of the time it moves away by this point. I actually haven't worried about it til now, but now I'm getting that twinge of concern. We'll see . . .

B

Bethany - Great to hear from you! I can't believe you are 30 weeks already!!! It doesn't seem that long ago that we all started this journey together!!!

Kate/Dude - Any beta news yet????

Just got the call from my nurse that all my quad screen results came back NORMAL. I'm so relieved. Finally something I don't have to worry about! Or at least, not as much . Went to work today and worked about 4 hours and it nearly did me in...ugh. I think I have round ligament pains because by the time I got home it felt like I'd been hit by a baseball bat between the legs...nice, eh?? LOL.

Hope everyone else is doing well!!

Hi I finally did it...I put a ticker up. I have one my week then I will be in the 2nd trimester according to my dr. So maybe I can start getting excited.

I went to motherhood today and bought a lot. I hate feeling like crap and not having clothes that dont fit right. Makes you feel even worse. So I am hoping if I at least look better I will feel a little better and I cut my hair shorter my new pregnancy look. lol..

Buying therapy always helps me.

I see Dude already reported our beta. Cool huh? Now how do we pass the next two weeks? It seems like this whole process is made up of two week waits.

Bethany- "Don't worry" is such a trivial phrase at times. I hope your appt next goes well. Let us know.

Kristen- Yay for working... sort of... I mean how will you keep up with your soaps?
