Good luck! Except for one seder that I went to as a kid, all I know about seders is from Google, but from what little I read, it looks like grape juice is allowed as an alternative to wine. Do you think you could sub grape juice for yourself without it being awkward? If you're worried they'll assume you're pregnant, you can always just tell them you're a recovering alcoholic, 12 hours sober, or something like that. Have fun, and nice job on the gefilte fish!

We're still visiting family until tomorrow, when we'll have our donor agency appt. and then head back home. Hugs to everyone.

Hello everyone!! I hope you all are having a great Sunday!
I have been very busy this weekend with calls from work...i am on call 24/7...so it has been hectic.

I have an off the subject question, have any of you graduated or known anyone who graduated or attended the University of Phoenix online? Did their degree work well to get a job? I am just curious because i go to the UOP online and I am getting a Bachelor of Science in Human Services degree, and i was just wondering about the job hunting thing

Leanne- I didn't do Phoenix, but I did Univ. of Missouri online for my masters. I sent out my first resume last week so I don't know how it will be received. I wouldn't think it would matter.

Hugs and happy Sunday to everyone!

Hi everyone!!! Thanks so much for all the prayers and thoughts for my cyst. It worked!!! I had my u/s and bw on Friday to see if I could start my stims and my cyst was not longer a cyst, it was a follie!!!
So here's my latest update -
My E2 on Friday was 27. So I started on 300iu of follistim and 75 on menopur on Friday night. I did this for 2 nights and then had bw done this morning. Well my E2 only went up to 57. They wanted it to be at least 3 digits. The doctor upped my follistim starting today; so now I take 150ius in the am and 225iu with the menpur in the pm. I won't have another check until Thursday am. I hope everything is going ok...

Cathy, I hope you throat is feeling better today. I' m so gald you got to start on the stims on Friday too. I hope you have some great follies and E2 level on Wednesday!!! I think the G2 is for after ER to keep your electrolytes in balance.

Liza, I hope you get more follies today, and that your check up tomorrow is all positive. I'm praying for all of us that are going through a cycle right now.

Leanne, I'm sorry about your husband's grandpa passing. I hope that you and he are at peace about it. My dh has a really close friend of the family named Doyle.
Good luck on the house hunting. That's some time consuming stuff!

Amy, I can't believe your already off to the OB this week. That's amazing! Will you have another u/s there?

Jana, I'm glad you're getting to start your next cycle so soon. I really hope you get your bfp this cycle.

Heather, how are you doing?

Kate and Dude, I hope the consult at the donor agency goes smoothly for you both tomorrow.

Bethany, Happy Passover to you! I really know nothing of geflite fish, but I hope it's good.

Tanya, good luck tomorrow with your u/s! Please let us know how it goes!!!

Barbara, I ust know you'll make it til your beta with no poasing!!!

Shana, that's really great that you got to see your little bean!!!

Jen, any news on the job front?

Kristen, what are you up to today? When will you have you next stuff done with CORM?

Hi Tamtam!!! How's the baby?

I'm jealous of your initial E2!!

i'm hoping because mine was so high it dosen't mess things up for me. I'm on 300 bravelle and 300 menopur so I'm hoping for lots of follicles on Wed.

Cathy, maybe we can average our E2s and have that be our starting level? I think I may be a slow responder. I dont' knwo though since this is my first anything for infertility. It's kinda scary with all these drugs! I do 3 shots a day now! At least I'm not on heparin as well. I'm just hoping and praying and praying and hoping!
how do you feel? Can you tell anythings going on in there?

I feel good. I have a bruise on the right side from the first shot and a big red welt from last night shot. I mix all my meds together for one shot it is a lot easier but I also take mine at the same time every night.

I don't think much is happening cause I don;t feel much.

Cathy, well hopefully things are going on in there and you just can't feel it yet! I mix my meds at night for one shot, but I still do .5 of lupron in the morning and more follistim from the pen too. I hate these shots and needles! I have some bruises on my tummy and on my arm from blood draw. This is all for our little one, right?

Barbara - Oh, the crazy symptom chasing. I was on estrogen shots from the beginning of this cycle, and I definitely felt nausea before my beta. However, I'm pregnant. So, just because you're taking the estradiol doesn't mean that that's why you're nauseated! I'm remaining hopeful for you! Oh, and stay away from those evil pee sticks!!!

Jen - I hope your matzo ball soup was good - it's my favorite part of Passover. Our gefilte fish experiment was a success. Mostly because it was really fun to cook with DP. She really doesn't cook AT ALL (she'll grocery shop, pot scrub and dish clean, reheat in the microwave, but really never makes more than cold cereal). But she's incredible at making other things and loves gadgets. So, we made this into a very gadget-filled experience - even using a meat grinder instead of the cuisinart to grind stuff up (it felt very sweeney todd!). She put on some good "getting to work" music, and we had a blast. It turns out that the gefilte fish was good, actually.

Tonight's our second Passover seder, and at this one it's going to be much tougher to hide that I'm not drinking. (there are 4 cups of wine that we're supposed to drink throughout the night - maybe to help deal with things like eating gefilte fish - ). Wish me luck!

I hope everyone's having a great Sunday. -B

I know I dont want to do it.. I was so tempted but I didnt do it. I am good for today. Family is over for sauce so I will ok until tomorrow.
Enjoy your Seder...Do you have to drink it can you say your on medicine or you have a stomachache? Sorry if i am asking a dumb question, I have never been to a passover dinner.

BD711, I hope you had a nice passover seder last night. We are having a quasi one tonight since I am not feeling great (my left ovary hurts). We don't have family here so figured we would just do a dinner with the 2 of us tonight. DH is so excited about gefilte fish. I love the charoset. Happy Pesach.

I am about 1-2 days from triggering? Where are you in the cycle?

Thanks for all the hope, ladies!

Janice - my E2 is always on the low side too. Not sure why or what it means (except that you follies aren't maturing?). Hope everything goes well with your shots and you produce lots of follies.

Cathy - I haven't had one bruise this time. Last time I had lots and got welts, too. The only spots on my tummy are from my insulin shots, and those needles are miniscule! Go figure. Hope you're producing lots of follies, too.

Hi to everyone else!
