Hi all! I was missing the boards - my mom was visiting and though I thought you slow down as you get older, she is the exception! She kept me running and Shopping! (she has no good shopping near her so stores it all up until she comes to visit me). Anyway, I had no time at all to sign on and check in....so I'm lucky I noticed the new board!

I have to go back and read through the posts to see where everyone is...I am starting Cipro and Prednisone tomorrow for 2 weeks in anticipation of AF, and then I go in for u/s and b/w and start the flare protocol right away. So, still I have no cysts or the one that I think I had went away. My body is still acting weird so I'm pretty convinced that I do have something going on...but we'll see.

I hope everyone is doing well...I'll write more as I read through the posts!

I am expecting to get AF today, but being on meds that can all change RIGHT?
Last cycle it CAME three or four days early. But this cycle I did take a booster shot so can that postpone it from coming? I am usually at 25 - 28 days so today is 28..I PRAY IT DOESNT COME.
Does anyone have a clue about this?

Barbara - I wish I had an answer for you. It gets so mental through all of this. I just don't know what drugs can do to your system.

Janice - Hi. Thanks for asking. I think I'm coping. I'm a bit empty and just starting to realize that I've got to come up with some snappy answers when I run into people in town who ask how I'm doing. Most people don't know anything about our struggles, but I feel a little on the fake side when I say I'm fine. I wish I were more positive, but thanks for letting me vent some not fake feelings. I loved having my mom here this weekend. She is very supportive, but not in my way at all. With her support I even managed to dodge a baby shower (dropped off a gift at their house beforehand) and a single teenage mom asked if I'd babysit for her... um.... no. Sounds like we may have been on similar meds... I did 3 shots a day for a while. I got really good at it. I just didn't like when the follistim runs out, so you add another shot to get your full dose.

Kate - Just read between the lines.... Happy job hunting! Are you going back in the classroom?

update - I had my u/s this morning and confirmed that I have 2 little beans! One is measuring smaller than the other, but I am keeping faith that all will work out. Thanks for all your support.

I know how you feel, I snapped at my daughers dance competition a week ago, one of the mothers asked me "why would I want to do this again, and start all over?" What?? OMG how do people ask such stupid questions?
I think this question has been brought up to me so many times. I lose it now when I hear it. I apologize later, but its the one question I can not stand.

Heather, I haven't been through a full IVF cycle yet, but I know that questions will start to come soon. My parents and my dh's mom have been full of questions fo far. They've been pretty supportive, but are confused by a lot of it.
I'm so glad that you've been able to spend some time with your mom and that she's been helpful. I wish my mom could be here for my ER and stuff, but she'll be at her own mother's burial. It's perfectly fine to get those feeling out here! I know I've been going through ups and downs and questioning every little thing the RE tells me. I always have to go do my own research. I think I have trust issues! LOL
No really, I think it's because I don't have anything in my life to compare this to. I'm not a proponent of change...

I am going crazy, everything little symptom I am analzying. Wow what am I going to do for the next two days?
Its great that heather has her mom. My mom passed away in '98 I would love to have her for me right now.
