yes, but then I came home an hour later and looked at it and it had the faintest line. I had to hold it up to the light=). It was ultra sensitive test with a sensitivity # of "25" to detect the hcg.

You are hoping and praying that those babies fertilize and grow and the waiting for the phone call seems like forever. Don't give up hope and don't get caught up in all the of the "ratings". We tranfered 2 6-cell "poor" quality embryos on day 3. My RE did not even want to tell me the rating because they were poor with LOTS of fragmentation. These embies CAN stick!!!

I felt so alone when my first round didn't work and kept reading everyone else got a BFP after round 1...but #2 can work ..so gals who are on here reading #2 works too! Stay positive!
I am 36 years old and 27 weeks prego and NO the first IVF round did not take!

THRILLED to have found out (on one of these forums) that it is ok to numb your butt with an ice pack before the progesterone shots, first few were just horrible without. We actually asked the nurse at the er, day of transfer to demonstrate, proper way for my husband to give shot....total godsend,
you lay belly down, raise leg --whichever side you are shooting up-all the way up to your chest-makes the skin and your muscle tighter, and easier to inject.


Relied heavily on clinic's advice & monitoring, did not research too much in advance,wish I planned a vacation during the 2 week wait, it's brutal, sitting and wondering. Thrilled that after all of this time....this actually works!!!

Want to wish IVFers out there strength & patience to get through this. I am still a bit in shock, 4 weeks and 3 days preggo!!!!! Also been so pleased that friends & family have been so supportive throughout entire process........
