1st BETA12/14/2007  beta 85.92nd BETA 12/21/07 2758 1st U/S Wed 12/26  saw one yolk and one sac.....possible second one lurking couldnt tell...will know next week at 7 week u/s Beta 13621 2nd U/S Thursday 1/3 - everything perfect!!!! heartbeat 140....I am now released from RE and off to "normal" ob!!!! - 3rd u/s Thursday 1/10 with my normal ob heartbeat 150 everything perfect.....no need to return until 2/6..yeah I am pregnant!!! Thank you God.... 4th u/s Friday 1/25 - heart beat 171!!! arms and legs moving all around....we just can't believe it 5th u/s Wed 2/6 heartbeat great baby very active- nuchal test done praying for good health...nuchal test results back everything great so far MY C SECTION IN SCHEDULED FOR 8/2/08.......THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS GIFT

How many eggs retrieved: 10 How many eggs fertilized: 8, but 4 successfully How many days between ER and ET: 3 How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 3 - 8 cell, 1 - 4 cell Symptoms or issues during 2WW: Definitley some pings, pangs and twinges in the uterus area, but who knows what kind of tricks your mind plays on you, but I never did feel that kind of feeling before What day you got your BFP: BETA day HPT before blood test: I did POAS AFTER my BETA. I refused to do it before...If I were to have disappointment, I only wanted it to be 1x. Number of first beta: 144 Number of babies: 2 Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process! I was pretty well informed...just try to relax and keep as many positive thoughts going as possible. It was very difficult to only have been told we had a 40% chance, but it worked, and we are so very thankful!! Good luck to everyone through this process!!

GROW, GROW, GROW!! 30-Nov ET 2 Grade 1, 8 celled munchkins transferred 11-Dec - BETA#1 144 = , BETA #2 264, BETA #3 584, BETA #4 114621-Dec - 1st u/s!!! It is a long painful, expensive struggle but it will be worth it.

I'm new here
Hi everyone I'm new here and I just wanted to introduce myself.
me:26 dh:26 ttc:2 yrs We had our first consult two weeks ago and I had to have this long thing inserted into my uterous  to see if everything was o.k. Turns out I have one blocked tube.My husband is just fine. Anyway we don't start IVF until july 08  Oh and did I mention it will all be out of pocket  What ever though I just want my angel. Good luck to us all.

I would have like to know about our condition before we wasted so much time We would have liked to have known that our state requires insurance to cover IVF. Age: 34 How long TTC: 4 years Diagnosis or any known issues: FSH 12 on day 10, 6% morphology for dh Treatments you tried before IVF: 6 months of clomid, 1 IUI How many IVF did you do before success: 5 Are you using donor eggs or sperm: Donor Eggs Protocol (meds taken): Since it's a donor cycle I was only on: BCPs, Lupron, Medrol, doxy, Prog in Ethyl Oleate (eventually switched to supps), Prednisone, Vivelle dots, Folgard, baby aspirin, prenatal vitamin How many follicles at ER: 15 How many eggs retrieved: 15, 14 mature How many eggs fertilized: 10, through ICSI How many days between ER and ET: 5 How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 2 blasts (4 put on ice) Symptoms or issues during 2WW: needing to 'go' more often and an odd warmth in my lower, right abdomen What day you got your BFP: 6dp5dt HPT before blood test:yes (+) Number of first beta: 181, 8dp5dt Number of babies: 1 Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process! How long it would take and that donor egg was the only option for us. We could have avoided 3 fresh IVF and 1 FET with my eggs...but looking back I needed to give it the ol' college try to make sure I avoided any regrets down the line.

Great thread Devan! When I was going through the fertility process, I always looked for success stories like these to keep me going. Good luck ladies, your time will come soon.
So here I come. . . Name: Netty Age: 34 How long TTC: Since October 2005 Diagnosis or any known issues: None. Only three stinky fybroids in the way that were removed through an abdominal myomectomy. Treatments you tried before IVF: Lots of and three failed IUIsHow many IVF did you do before success: One Are you using donor eggs or sperm: No. Protocol (meds taken): For both IVFs, antagonist protocol (Follistim, Ganirelix, Ovidrel, PIO, Prog in gel applicators) From my successful IVF- How many follicles at ER: 19 How many eggs retrieved:17 How many eggs fertilized: 7 How many days between ER and ET: 3 How many and quality/rating of embryos/blasts transferred: 3 Symptoms or issues during 2WW: Almost none. . . if anything, it was very mini tiny cramps. What day you got your BFP: 11dp3dt HPT before blood test: Absolutely not. Those evil HPT were banned. Number of first beta:163 Number of babies: Singleton Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process!

Ultrasound #2 5/1- saw the 2 heartbeats. Baby A is at 120 bpm and Baby B is at 100 bpm. Both babies measuring at 6 weeks, 3 days. Beta #4-34,315! Ultrasound #3 5/8- Beta #5-79,289 Both babies are doing great! Normal heartbeats (140 bpm)!! First appointment w/ OB- 5/12/08, both babies are growing, HB 160 bpm. Thank you God!! Number of first beta: 95 Number of babies: 1 Anything else you would have wanted to know before you started this process! I would've loved a crystal ball to have told me how we would finally have a successful pregnancy so I wouldn't have had to go through the pain of each of the earlier steps. But life doesn't work that way, and we're really grateful to be where we are now.
