Mixed Feelings
I had my transfer today and although I am so grateful to have had the transfer I am also worried that my chances are so low I am just getting my hopes up for nothing. I only had 2 frozen blasts to work with and one did not survive the thaw. I had a single blast transfer today. The blast looked great, but I still have this fear that by only putting one in there is no chance it will take. Anyone had one embryo transferred that resulted in a pregnancy?

This will be my first IVF so I cant help you from experience, but I have read soooo many posts about how it absolutely can happen with one! Do everything you can to relax and take care of yourself....think positive! I will be

Kristy, the was actually a thread about transfering only 1 embie. Most of the ladies posing the question were from England and Australia where transfering one embie is standard practice. Several of those ladies got pg. So you SHOULD be optimistic. This could totally be your cycle.

After my transfer, it helped me to keep in mind that God is in control. Have faith and try to stay positive. I know that is easier said than done!!  Keep praying and remember, it only takes one.  I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Happy anniversary! Love and blessings, Heather

My good friend only one had embie thaw, she felt as down on her luck as you do - but it worked. Her son is now 4 years old. So keep hoping!

FET #1: November 08 11/9 - cd1 (start meds) 11/21 - b/w and ultrasound 11/26 - FET all 3 embryos make it!!!

(sorry if I misspelling because I'm not very good in English) Me - 30 (lost right fallopian tube due to ectopic) DH - 32 ( Low count) Thong (Toy Poodle)1st IVF 25th Aug - Stop BCP 01st Sep  02nd Sep - Blood Test (FSH 10.72) RE say a bit high 20th Sep - Start Lucrin 20iu , Vit E & Folic Acid 03rd Oct - E2 03rd Oct - Period come on 02 OCt 2008.( E2 117) start stim (Lucrin - 10iu & Gonal F - 300iu ) 08th Oct - U/S - right ovary no respond (1 follicle 8.4mm), left ovary only 3 follicle (9.5mm and two smaller). Cancelled cycle. Wait for AF. - cancelled cycle. 15th Oct - AF arrived.. Waiting again for next AF. 2nd IVF - Antagonist Protocol 20th Nov - AF arrive  21th Nov - Start stim - Gonal F 450iu 26th Nov - U/S
