Thanks Well, actually I am in Georgia...but closer to TN then Atlanta. I'm in a little town right outside Chattanooga, TN...but again I'm a GA peach too LOL

That is funny how she described your surgery....just clean you out! Spring cleaning I suppose...LOL I pray that it's not bad...sounds like a lot of procedures but again, they probably all work together so it's one "BIG" procedure to take care of it all.

What a dream too ....gosh that is scary. I'm 100% sure that wouldn't happen....but boy we can have some crazy dreams huh?

As far as my shots, well I remember giving myself the Lupron before when I donated....those needles don't really scare me. And since I'm avoiding the PIO because I'm in the study/trial the only 'big' needle I have to deal with is the trigger. I'll ice a lot before that one and hopefully I'll be okay LOL I'll be on GonalF, Menopur and then of course the Lupron. Oh and that Doxycyclin....yuck! I'm not looking forward to 10 days of sour stomach LOL I'm praying this 10 days will fly by though!

IndieBlue- Sorry for being MIA for such a long time....okay, here is the update on me....I took Letrozole in the month of Feb (from OB-GYN). Didn't ovulate at all on Letrozole, went for an ultrasound, found out I had a cyst (thanks a lot), took Provera to bring on a period, never got the period....because thanks to Provera, my egg (which we thought was a cyst) released, we had sex (totally not even thinking about it) and got pregnant. Took a home pregnancy test (which came positive), made an appointment with GRS for two betas (which by the way were fantastic), went to the OB-GYN's office, heard the heartbeat (135 bpm)....Tech warned, the sac is smaller compared to the baby....went for a second ultrasound at GRS a week later, no heartbeat. D & C scheduled for tomorrow. Fun stuff I tell you. They are doing Chromosomal testing to determine the reason for the miscarriage.....we shall find out the results in approx. 5 weeks....will keep you posted.

Again....so sorry, it sounds like it was just a whirlwind of a month for you....just heartwrenching

Good luck with your procedure. I hear the best time to get prego is right after surgery. Keep us update.

Hm....not looking forward to the procedure but looking forward to the results for sure. We also have Genetic testing schedule with Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine (this facility is in my Insurance network for Genetic Testing). The consultation is scheduled for next Thursday. Hopefully, they will do the test as well and not just talk to us about the test. It was a bummer to hear the heartbeat one week and think that all is okay and then go next week to find out that nothing is okay. Oh well, I am glad that we got to hear the heartbeat at least. It was the best sight and sound....

Hey Indie Blue...

So no more IVF...Went to Dr. Conway to do my saline sono and was told that I was going to get kicked out of the study and that IVF wouldn't work on me unless I had another surgery done. After much thought we are not considering any more infertility treatments right now. I wish you the best of luck!

I am so sorry for your loss!! Hopefully chromosomal testing will come back and give you some answers. Do they recommend PGD with your IVF due to your miscarriages? This is where they test the embryos chromosomes before ET.

Just wanted to wish all of you luck too! I did my cycle with RBA and had an incredible experience there. Laurie (above) and I met up on this board and have gotten together several times and it's been really fun to have a local contact. For those of you cycling together, see if you can figure out a way to meet up!

Another peach here. I am going to RBA, I started with GRS, didn't qualify for study, then found out my insurance wasn't accepted there, so that's how I ended up at RBA. We have $3500 for meds, and then $3500 for IVF and we wanted to use it. I love the clinic so far and go for all of my pre-cycle testing the 1st 2 weeks of June if AF comes when expected...but we all know how that goes. I live in Marietta, just a few minutes north of Atlanta. I'll keep you posted on when I actually start my cycle, as of now just waiting on AF so I can get my bloodwork and ultrasound done.

Let's keep this thread going! ;-)

Shannon....glad to see someone else joining the GA gals I'm going in tomorrow for my first ultrasound after starting stims, I started them Thursday I'm excited to see what it shows.

Good luck on starting the BCP's in June. It's good you're going to RBA as GRS shuts down the lab sometime in June and another patient said they told her to 'hang out' on Lupron for a few more weeks and she won't go back till July for her next appointment.....so with your cycle dates, you'd probably be put on hold too, not fun!

Again.....welcome!!!
