Well, quick update on me. I'm going in tomorrow for my ultrasound after 3 days of stims. I'm praying that everything is okay and my meds do not increase. I had a HUGE surprise on the day I went in for my baseline, the nurse phoned to let me know to start stims and told me that I needed to do 2 vials of Menopur though instead of 1....so to call the pharmacy and order 12 more!!!!! Well, after calling them and finding out it was 700.00 I just sat here and cried. I did not have 700.00 and no where to get it either. Luckily we had some divine intervention and got that taken care of.....praise God!

If they up anymore of my meds though I'll just cry.....it's hard enough coming up with money for this procedure, without having these surprises pop up. Anyhow...here's praying for a smooth cycle from here on out.

Hope you all are doing well.....can't wait to hear some updates

Good luck on starting the BCP's in June. It's good you're going to RBA as GRS shuts down the lab sometime in June and another patient said they told her to 'hang out' on Lupron for a few more weeks and she won't go back till July for her next appointment.....so with your cycle dates, you'd probably be put on hold too, not fun!

Again.....welcome!!!
I actually have the Pre-cycle testing in June and don't think I'll get to start BCP's until July's cycle (should start July 3rd). The doc said I couldn't be on BCP's while getting the pre-cycle testing. Does anyone know when RBA's down times are, I haven't asked yet and again I'm just assuming I'll get to start in July with the BCP's.

They would let you know before they start your cycle with tentative dates. I was there during an IUi cycle and they thought there would be a down time and boy were there a lot of women for IVF that week. They wouldn't let you start then cancel you. Best of luck.

indi blue--so glad you are starting stims. Just be open if you need more meds. i've had cycles where it goes up and this last one when it went down. I know of the financial strain but I bet your body is going to respond really well since you were a donor before.

ThorBear: I agree with EmilysMom, they wouldn't have let you do all that without telling you.

EmilysMom: Thank you for the meds information and the thoughts on stims I had 3-4 on one side today and 2-3 on the other....after 3 days of stims, so hopefully that's good. I guess I'll ask more questions on Tuesday, I was just tired today and glad to get out of there....it was 1 1/2 hours for just a bit of blood work and the u/s Add that to the 2 hour drive there and 2 hour drive home and I'm just pooped LOL

Smile I'm Backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Hi Ladies,
Still having a tough time with pain management so I can only log on long enough to let you know that per my RE the surgery went great. The only downside was that they had to do the surgery via an open belly incision hence they extra discomfort I'm currently in right now.

Thanks all for thinking of me. I'll be able to dish with you all in the next couple of days.

Heart Feeling a little better

Hi Ladies,

I'm finally feeling a liitle better as having endured a slight infection from the surgery. So hears the scoop in a nut shell:
Left Tube was removed due to hydro
Right Tube Clipped was adhered to bladder and couldn't be removed
Dr. Roberts cleaned out all of my adhesions and scar tissue which I was told was extensive hence the open surgery.
Remaining Ovary and uterus looking pretty good
It didn't hit me to much later that my chances of a nautral pregancnacy has now been removed forever which kind of got me down.
My pre-op appointment has been scheduled for 06/13/08.
My DH and I have decided that we are going to let Dr. Roberts with the Emory Team do IVF#3. When DH and I told her of the decision she said that she was happy and honored. Her specific words were "You are a part of our family and we are going to make sure we do all that we can to get you pregnant". I figured since Dr. Roberts and her team literally knew me inside and out what better group of people to have to help you with one of the most important mission in my life which for me is bringing a new life in to this world.

Unfortuantely I am still dealing with pain management and also having a hard time pooping. I still have a long road to recovery and don't anticipate that I will start my next cycle until Aug or Sept.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on you ladies looking for those 's. Good luck and best wished to all the peaches.

BFP from IVF #3

I had 2 postive HPTs yesterday so I moved up my beta. Beta was 105 . I still can't believe it!!

Had some pinkish bleeding yesterday enough to concern me but it seems to be slowing down.
