Thumbs up Doing Fine

Hi Indie,

I'm Indie I'm doing just fine. How have you been feeling? Any changes to your body since ET? I hope and pray I can get to that same point one day.

I had my post-op appointment yesterday and my RE is ready for me to do my CD3 test as soon as rears her head. I think I'm actually going to put it off until August so that I can get my body back on track with my previous routine of herbs. We were able to discuss what type of protocol she was thinking of for me and we will not be doing any BCP but I will be supressed with another med similiar to Lupron (not sure what it's called) and I will also be doing estrogen priming for approx. 1-2 weeks prior to stimming.

BUT before I do that I will be also making another appointment with Dr. Kaplan at GRS to hear her ideas on protocols etc....... Truthfully I wouldn't know how to decipher one from the other in terms of my response but I'm so nervous and anxious at the same time praying that all of this will work.

I am keeping my for you and thinking thoughts on your beta day.

I'm for you!

I have been searching online all morning for something to tell me just that, but seems FRED's and FRER's only have a problem with false positives when the HCG isn't high enough to keep that line there for very long and it disappears.

Praying that Wednesday brings me good news....we've said all along that this is our one and only chance and now I find myself trying to figure out how to do it again....when I know there is absolutely no financial means to support another cycle

Oh well, Wednesday will be here before I know it and hopefully I'll be surprised Oh and I took another test after I woke up (I go back to bed after my progesterone goes in) and I slept for 3 hours. I took another test...yes I know I'm crazy and it was a faint + again!!!! I tested 2 more, one in water and one on my husband (yes....I'm embarrassed LOL) and both were stark negatives! So I'm clueless at this point....but the FRER should have shown something since I checked on PeeOnAStick.com and it said that in test it's been consistent in detecting levels at 12.5

IndieBlue: On the FRER's that you are using, is the "results window" an oval or rectangle? I thought I had read somewhere that only the rectangle one's had been proven to consistently pic up 12.5, but I can't find it anywhere now. I only remember reading it b/c at the time I had some and ran upstairs to see what kind I had and it was oval. I also think that the rectangle ones were the "old" version and now they are all oval. If it helps at all, I have used every test in the world including the ones you are using now (test strips) and the FRER did not show up as soon as the strips for me when I was pregnant, and the Target early response ones gave me 2 false positives when I wasn't pregnant. So I think the strips are very accurate and you ARE still in the game!

Thank you The FRER that I have has an oval window....which is the new test (per the PeeOnAStick.com site). So you're right....it says on it that it doesn't pick up until 25. I just hate these AF symptoms....and that I have to wait till Wednesday to know for sure.

On the Target ones that gave you the false positive, did you get both false pos's back to back? I've gotten a positive on the strips every single day since 6dp3dt....or 9dpo, but today I took 3 and only 1 came out positive and the other strips didn't even have a faint line on them.

I just can't believe the confusion these things cause....you'd think that a line would be a line, and these strips don't expire until 05/2010 and they are all from the same lot, so who knows.

Thanks again for pointing that out about my FRER

On the Target ones, I got a faint postive at midnight and then the next morning I got another positive, but then took 3 FRER and 1 strip test, and all were negative and AF came a few days later. In my case I didn't want to be pregnant b/c it would have been a bad thing, long story...you can reference the thread "when a BFP sucks" if you'd like. I definitely don't think you should give up yet, you are PUPO!
Those sticks are soooooo tricky. Funny thing about me is I always get my earliest positives when I pee before I go to bed, or just in the middle of the day. It's weird. I had so many first morning pee tests come back negative, but then pee on one an hour later with just a little pee, and they come back positive. I don't know if it has something to do with the amount of pee being so much more in the morning, and the HCG being at a very low rate, that it somehow gets diluted or what...it's all very confusing to me. What isn't as confusing is your beta on Wednesday, so please keep your head up and only focus on those positives you're getting.

Hi Crescendo97,

Congrats on your BFP's and can't wait to see a great Beta # tomorrow afternoon.

What part of GA are you from. I'm in Marietta, which is about 15 miles north of Atlanta.
