Congrats Crecendo and Lauren on your BFPs!
Indie, hang in there. You never know those crazy sticks could be giving you false negatives. I will pray that you get your BFP tomorrow! As for me, I am back from ET at GRS. All went smoothly. In the end we put back three great blasts. Dr. Perloe said he was okay with 3 because of my age and past failed IVF cycle. They froze 5 today and are watching another 5 blasts to freeze tomorrow. If they look good they will definitely freeze them. We are very excited to have completed this stage with fair better results than last time. It is amazing how much better these 3 blasts look compared to the 3 that were put back on our first IVF cycle. God is Good!!

Heartbeats of 160 and 164--Twins!!  7/31-Ultrasound with OB, saw both heartbeats and one baby danced for us! 8/20-Released to OB, RE says both babies are perfect!

Newbie Here
I've been lurking for a while, and have really learned alot about the whole IVF process from you guys. I still feel very stupid on certain things though. You guys have all the lingo down and I'm still trying to learn all that stuff.
A little about me: My husband and I live in Woodstock. I go to ACRM and have had a pleasant experience with them so far. My M.D. is Dr. Denis. He's very laid back, personable, and funny. Fits my personality nicely! Bedside manor is a huge plus, especially when you have to go through IVF, right?! DH and I had our pretesting done in May & June and everything has been a go since then. I put a call into my nurse today b/c I just started AF today. I'm very nervous about starting the meds, b/c I'm already pretty much a basket case when AF comes, so I can just imagine how I'm going to be with all the meds  (scary!!!) Just wanted to stop in and say "HI" to everyone and wish all of you the best of luck in this journey! I hope to bring good news soon!

Lupron isn't so bad just some headaches after a week or so. The stims are fine until about day 5 then you can feel them. I tried to be really nice to DH leading up to stims because after my first 2 cycles I really turned into another person. This last cycle I was more even keel. I am hoping you have a very successfull cycle. Relax and be prepared for a lot of appts which can get crazy in ATL traffic. Feel free to PM me if you have any ?

Hello Ladies...I'm just starting my IVF adventure...a little nervous but ready to begin...I live in Atlanta and attend the Emory Reproductive Center my RE is Dr. Session. Waiting patiently on to begin BCP. Wishing all of you the best

(ME) 30 PCOS, Overweight, Hypothyroid, 1 blocked tube (DH) 37 poor morph. Trying for many years 2 chihuahua's02/04/08 1st. RE visit 04/04/08 diagnosis- PCOS and High TSH. (Start Metformin and Levothroid) 04/22/08 HSG found 1 blocked tube 06/09/08 SHG good 06/28/08 started on its own without the help from prometrium.06/30/08 1st IVF consults, Estradiol and FSH tests normal. Ultrasound (38) antral follies  for TSH level to drop so I can begin IVF07/28/08 TSH normal (1.8)...synthroid 50mg worked 08/06/08 has arrived with help from progestrone #1. IVF/ICIS 08/08/08 Taking BCP's 08/14/08 Injection class 08/21/08 Start Lupron (20)units 08/26/08 Last BCP 08/30/08 arrived09/04/08 US (42) antral follies 09/06/08 Start Follistim (150)units; Lupron (10)units

Welcome new girls!
I've been hanging over in the Sept IVF thread. I live in Smyrna, GA and had an unsuccessful IVF in 4/08 at GRS in the duramed study. However, now we are going for IVF # 2 in NYC. I start stimming next week and ?ER around 8/1/08. My FET will be in october -- my doc has to do genetic testing first before ET! Anyway, welcome and it's nice to know there is support really close by!! Lisa G
