Hello,

I just came back from my second u/s and RE said that:

1) It is my week 7
2) There is a heartbeat;
3) the sac looks "on the down side", so it is small.


She recommended to wait one more week but accordingly to her experience there could be some genetic problems. And after next week, if things are still the same... a D&C (I hate those words).

I am a little bit confused with the dates. My last period was May 30th, my ER was 6/10. I thought I was in my 6th week.

I spoke with my RE in Peru and he said this is my 6th week.

Does somebody have more information about this subject?

I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AND ALL YOUR PRAYERS.

the ER date is technically 2wks, so today would be 7w2d

i hope they are wrong and that your little bean implanted late and all is well and perfect.

i can only add confusion......with this pregnancy, at 6w5d, we had two sacs with two great heartbeats, both measured 5w5d one was a larger sac and the other a smaller sac. at 9w4d, we found out that the smaller sac's heart had stopped beating, however the larger sac still had a great strong heartbeat and we are now into wk32 with her.

I was recently reading another post on here where the measured dates were a week behind the actual dates for a number of weeks and then caught up. Though I know it's easier said than done, try and stay positive. Good luck.

Early on when I was newly pregnant, the doctor said that my sac was small for the embryo. He then said that the important part was that there was a heart beat and that the embryo was measurable. I freaked out (naturally) and it has never come up again. Is this what your doctor is talking about?

I'm sorry I keep you in my prayers. Like the others ladies said your little guy may be a late implanter. Plus there is a heartbeat.
Try to stay positive you dont need to stress yourself out right now.
