Maggie...yes, this is the stuff we used Fresh Royal Jelly & Pollen In by YS Royal Jelly/Honey Bee - VitaminShoppe.com

I went through about a jar per month taking a silverware teaspoon in the AM and PM. Keep in mind they say you get your best results after taking it for 3 months...although so far it worked for me in two (still keeping my fingers crossed)

I wouldn't worry about ordering on the Internet...if it makes you feel better, just use your lowest limit credit card...or use your debit card...if you catch anything suspicious within 30 days in your account, the bank will not make you pay for it. Credit card companies usually follow that policy too.

Hey Maggie...are you a MN girl? I'm originally from Duluth...I can't even believe snow is in the forecast this weekend!!

Deanna...I'm so excited to hear about your results...keep us posted!

Carie, I'm dying to know: did you get your bloodwork back from this morning? I am crossing my fingers for a big # for you.

And I am using the same product that you sent the link for! I bought it at PCC (organic coop).

So, I ate the jelly straight from the jar this a.m. and will take another spoonful this evening. No warm water this time, since I don't want to undermine its effectiveness. It's still not my favorite thing to eat (and I'm eating the kind mixed with honey), but I think it's very worth it. Thanks, ladies, for all the help on this.

I just got the call and my first beta is 232! So far so good

That's exactly how I took the RJ/BP...straight from the jar then I followed it with cool water to help wash it all down.

You should have your DH take it too...it's supposed to really help sperm. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

As some of you girls know, I tried taking some a few months ago and got a rash. So if the package says to start slowly, I'd mind that suggestion. I just wanted to put out my warning too. :-)

I already emailed you, Carie, CONGRATS girl.

And Susan, you know I think you rock!

Carie, thanks for the info and congrats on your BFP!!!!! I went ahead and ordered it. I'm excited to get it started! No, I'm not in MN, I'm in IN! No snow here right now, thank goodness, we've already had enough for the year!

I did read there is a risk of allergy, as there is with honey and bees, but I used to help dad and grandpa with bee hives, so I'm pretty sure I'll be fine, I've been stung and eaten honey all my life!

Katy, I read your story where you asked for prayers for your little warrier embaby. And you have mine!! I will be thinking of you, and watching for your BFP!!

I actually started to Royal Jelly today. My acupunturist told me that I should start taking it. She gave me little bottles that are pre-mixed. They come with straws so you can drink it straight out of the bottle or mix it with water or tea. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I'm feeling better reading all these posts. I'm going for my IVF in July so hoping the acupunture and royal jelly will bring me some good news! Good luck everyone!

Thanks everyone! I have another beta tomorrow....hopefully it's over 700.

Hey ladies taking the RJ/BP...when are you scheduled for your next appt??

Like I said before...I actually saw results after taking it only a month and it just got better the next month. It was the best stim cycle I had and I was only on 100mg of Clomid (I was actually doing the Clomid Challenge), not the mother load, max amount a human can take of injectables like my last IVF cycle. I knew it was going to be a good cycle because that was the first time I saw promising antral follies on my CD3 U/S. I just kind of smiled to myself and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. If this cycle didn't work out, I was scheduled to start injectables this month. It kind of makes me wonder what the next cycle would be like

Anyway...make sure you all keep us posted with your results after each visit! It is so awesome to feel hopeful again! As long as you don't have structural issues...I'm a true believer that diet, exercise, and the supplements can really help (again...what I read in the Infertility Cure book). They have a website too...check it out Fertility Enhancing Retreats for Infertility Treatment | TheFertileSoul.com

To all of you that have been deemed a "poor stimmer" or told you don't have a reserve...don't even let that enter your mind. Until they tell you your reserve is 0...you still have a shot (that's the way I looked at it). I told my new RE that I won't even humor the DE conversation until I feel I have exhausted all my efforts and he was very supportive. Don't let them get you down or feel pressured to make that decision. What's a couple more months of waiting while you're going the "natural" route? If anything it'll better support your body for your next IF cycle if it doesn't work out.

Good luck to you all!! It will happen for all of us...one way or another!

Katy...congratulations on your "Super Embie!!"

I wish I had heard about this product before.I just placed an order.I'm also a poor responder and have high FSH.After 2 failed IVF's I changed clincins and my new RE is putting me on clomid (I'm also doing Clomid Challenge).Even if my levels are bad I'll wait another month and try this product before going to my 3rd cycle.
Thanks again for posting this useful info..

And Carie congrats on your BFP.

I'm just starting AF late tonight so I will go in Tuesday morning for ultrasound and blood work and hopefully have lots of antral follicles. I've only been on the royal jelly for about a month so not sure if I will see its effects this time. I'm hoping my cysts are gone or at least smaller and estradiol is low enough to start stims and do another IUI. I saw my RE on Friday and she was very encouraging of the acupuncture and herbs I'm using along with royal jelly. She's seen some good results with acupuncture with the ladies with DOR. I'm so glad that she's so positive and doesn't even bring up donor eggs AT ALL.

I hope everyone will keep us updated on your progress and looking for lots of BFP's soon.

Carie~Wishing you big beta numbers tomorrow. How many antrals did you have with this last cycle compared to normal cycle? Just curious. I've been anywhere from 6-11 and hoping for more this time.

Carie - good luck on your beta today!

My next appt. is suppression check on May 12; if all goes well, I'll start stimming 5/13. I hope this is enough time to allow the Jelly to help out my eggs!

I've perfected my delivery. I'm shooting the glob of jelly in a glass of orange juice. Perfect.

Thanks so much Deanna and Carie - I tell little embabie daily he/she has a lot of people rooting for him/her! It meant so much over the ER-ET timeframe to have so many people praying. The little embie jumped up 4 cells just overnight! Thanks again!

Sonohystogram as precaution 9/17 - once again, "textbook perfect" (someone find a problem, please!)
10/1 diagnosed high PAI-1 (blood clotting defect) - added baby aspirin and prednisone
10/13 diagnosed insulin resistance (finally something!) note - high PAI-1 often suggests insulin resistance as well, or PCOS; started Metformin
IVF #3 10/16 ER; 13 eggies, 10 fert with ICSI; bfp
Thank you God and my guardian angel for watching over me and the little ones.
