Well...I got my beta#2 results...it needed to be over 700 and it came in at 846!
 Whew!! What a relief! I go back in on Wednesday to get my final beta then the following week for the U/S. My nurse called me freaking out and said "I'm going to have to start pushing this jelly!!"  She and the RE are so impressed by the results I'm having. They looked at my chart from my last RE and each cycle almost looked the same (bad)...my bloodwork was not optimal. I should have never been allowed to proceed with IVF#1...my estrogen was at 485 on CD3. This last cycle it was at 75 and the lowest it was before that was 95. I look so forward to seeing the results the rest of you will have!

Oh Carie, I'm so happy to hear that news. Those are some great numbers. That is so exciting to hear your positive results with Royal Jelly. My day 3 estradiols are always high too. I'm so hoping my estradiol is good tomorrow so I can start this cycle.

Hey successful girls I am bumping this thread. I am placing an order for the RJ/BP tonight!! I have PCOS and I am sure my eggies could use a little improvement. I also have endo and read that the Royal Jelly can help with endo and implantation, anyone hear/read that? I have had several failed IUI's with stims and my body is getting back to somewhat ovulating on my own (this past cylce was 38 days as oppossed to the six months I have gone before). Well I really want to give trying au naturale a really good shot. So I am willing to try a lot of things. I was taking fertilaid but it actually seemed to make my cycle longer so I stopped taking that. In addition to RJ/BP I will be taking Metformin, Baby Aspirin, Prenatal and will use preseed w/ instead cups. I am gonna give this my best shot before we take the plunge with IVF!!

Mia - I have to ask -- what is "preseed" with instead cups? I'm pretty sure I know what the cups are.
I was cancelled, and the only good news is that I will have an extra month/two months to take RJ. I understand it works best after a couple of months! But I still think it tastes something awful!

Hi Ladies!!
I think I posted this stuff earlier in the thread, but here is what I used: Royal Jelly AND Bee Pollen in Honey: From what I've read, it is best to use this combination. If you PM me and send me your email address...I'll send you the "fact sheet" that I put together for my RE and nurses. I even brought in an empty jar to show them what it looks like and so they could show their other patients that ask if there is anything else they could be doing. If you get this stuff...it tastes like pure honey...it's just real think and not gooey like regular honey. Take a teaspoon in the AM and PM raw...not mixed in anything. I would put it in my mouth and smash it up with the warmth...then gulp down cool water. You don't want to put it in tea or anything warmer than your mouth because it'll kill the properties. Fresh Royal Jelly & Pollen In by YS Royal Jelly/Honey Bee - VitaminShoppe.com Pre-Seed: Here is where I bought it. They also give you free pregnancy tests that are the most sensitive that I found. They are the AimStrip/AimStick Pregnancy Tests and they register the HCG as low as 20miu (other early bfp tests register at 25miu). I ordered the 2 Boxes Pre-Seed 6 Pack and 5 Free Pregnancy Test Strips. They also send you a cute little surprise in your package Pre-Seed - Sale Prices w/ Free Shipping & Free Pregnancy Tests Instead Soft Cups: I bought them at Target. I think I paid about $7 for the 24 pack. Definitely practice before you want to use them for TTC. They aren't like tampons...you can insert them and take it out right away. I found that laying on my back with my knees bent (how you would be after the missionary position ) was the easiest. It just slides right in place. I would hold the cup just under DH when he was exiting and I never lost a drop. Once I inserted, I would leave it in for 2-4 hours. You don't need to lay with your legs in the air for 30 min because this cup hugs around your cervix. I got up and went about my day. TMI...but with this last cycle when I used DS, I put Pre-Seed in the cup then the sperm. After I inserted the cup, I then inserted my middle finger to push the bag of the cup against my cervix (just kind of moved it around since it's obviously a little cumbersome). The reason being, sperm needs to splash on your cervix and since BD was out of the question, I figured I needed to do something to make sure it touched my cervix...then the little swimmers do their thing. It's also a good idea to have an orgasm AFTER the cup is in. It helps your cervix to act like a suction. I even had DH do his thing in a cup and do my DS method. He said to me before that sometimes it doesn't feel like there was enough "force" behind it so I just wanted to make sure they got where they needed to be. The best way to take the cup out is to sit on the toilet, insert your finger around the edge of the cup, lean forward a little bit, and bare/push down like you would during a **.....then pull. Menstrual Cups, Feminine Products & Menstruation Products I'm SO excited for you guys!! The other thing I did was switch ALL meat to organic/hormone free and drank a glass of green tea everyday. I also got off my butt and exercised...nothing too strenuous...mostly brisk walking and light weights to get the blood pumping. Hang in there...it's GOING to happen for you!! Keep bumping this thread and post your updates. I'm really pushing for you all...especially those of you with high FSH that have been made to believe your eggs are cooked and you're wasting your time or the PCOS'ers who are told they can't get bfp without the help of a RE Prove them wrong!! That drives me out of my skull...if I would have given in to their grim diagnosis..I would have given up. I'm glad I stuck to my guns and hope you do too (look how many women on this board get bfp on their own). As much as this phrase has turned into a cliche...stay positive and KNOW that it'll happen for you...one way or another! Just keep visualizing yourself being with your baby and feel happy (I even started decorating the baby room before I got bfp I wish you all plump, juicy eggs...off the charts results from your stims, and peace (NO STRESS!)....GOOD LUCK RJ/BPers!!!

Wow, Carie, thanks for all of the information! I've used Instead for the last six years, but I've never heard of using it as a cup for sperm. Did you do that in addition to your IVF round? Where'd you hear of this?

Oh thanks for all the info Carie!!! I may try using the instead cups after baby dancing as well as Dh making a deposit. He has also said the same thing about there not being enough force. I ordered the RJ/BP that you had the link for, the one from Vitaminshoppe. I am very excited to get it in the mail so I can start it!!! I also ordered preseed and instead cups and a ton of OPK's and HPT's online as well. I am hoping this summer brings lots of BFP's around here!!!! Question, does the RJ/BP need to be refrigerated? And should Dh take it as well?

I put the link to the Vitamin Shoppe under the RJ/BP info I posted. This is the stuff I used and where I bought it. If you don't have a Vitamin Shoppe in your area, you can order it online. If you have one locally...print off the picture and show the person in the store to help you locate it. Mine actually came in a different bottle (the label looks different)...just be sure it has this ingredients and you'll be fine:Supplement Facts Serving Size 1 TEASPOON Amount Per Serving % Daily Value FRESH ROYAL JELLY 40000 Mg N/A* FRESH BEE POLLEN 35000 Mg N/A* RAW HONEY 20.5 Oz N/A* Also...the RJ/BP should NOT be refrigerated. I just kept mine on the counter (so I wouldn't forget about it ) Definitely have your DH's take it too...I had my donor take it (DH couldn't because he's allergic to bees). Again...if you PM me and give me your email address...I'll send you the info sheet I put together that I gave to my RE. Kristen...I didn't use the Instead Cups with IVF...I used them the last two cycles where I just took 100mg of Clomid. I believe I read about the cups at this TTC site...'ttc advice & tips' section. Thanks for all the info. I just went out and bought the Royal Jelly/Bee Pollen today. Luckily I have a Vitamin Shoppe down the street. The label was different but the ingredients and manufacturer are the same. I am praying that it helps. We are to have IVF #3 in August.

Hi Ladies,
Because of this thread I started taking RJ/BP...it's been almost two months now...(Thanks to Cari for all her info, and inspiration). My last cycle was cancelled due to a cyst, so I don't know if it's helped at all yet...but my next cycle should start in the next few days and I'm so excited to go in for my u/s to see what could be! I'm almost thankful for the cyst, so I had time to really take it before my next cycle! for lots of follies!!! Good Luck to everyone!!!
