Sue- I am so sorry. There is still a glimmer of hope; but I'm like you and prefer to just look forward.

I'm definitely going to Colorado. If you are going to stay closer to NYC, I can send you my CDC data that I downloaded and scrubbed. From my initial data review, the NYU fertility center is a good one.

Actually, I'll email this data to anyone who wants it since the site won't let me post the file. I downloaded the 2005 IVF rates that are reported to the CDC/SART. 2005 is the latest data available, 2006 should be out sometime this year.

The data allows you to search across the country at the success rates of every reporting clinic. Just email me direct at kelliejenks@hotmail.com.

Very odd day

I'm not sure if this is a "good" sign .. but, I just spent the last hour crying like a crazy women over the Oprah Puppy Mill Episode (I have Oprah on DVR). I'm not a big cryer .. so, I'm chalking it up to a good sign.

Otherwise, I have no symptoms. I can't mage waiting for another week to do my Beta. I will certainly POAS.

My thought is to wait until Thursday which will be 8dp3dt. ??? Not sure I'll be able to wait much longer.

Tara.

Ugh!! I missed that episode. I so wanted to see it!

Anyway, all I have really had that I have noticed is tightness in my stomach and some cramps. The cramps could be from ovaries though however the cramps are in the middle and not sides so who knows.

It is obvious. I am going crazy.

Sue, to you. I was really hoping you would get the .

Tap, you and I have BETA the same day. It's funny cause last time, I think (could have been in my head) that I felt the implantation, this time I was only getting an occassional twinge, so I don't know what to think. June 9th can't get here quick enough. I am going to do my best and hold off to POAS until the 8th...but def, the 9th.

Stephanie, can I just say you are soo stinkin' cute.

He also did a hysteroscopy. So, I know that I have mild endo, but there is no indicator that it has affected anything...according to my nurses after the surgery, I have "beautiful tubes" and my uterus looked good and clear of any damage/scar tissue. So, I am assuming that the endo is preventing implantation, but am not sure b/c it was so "minor". So, I was hoping to go to Colorado, but it looks like I will actually try somewhere closer in NYC since I am only 4 hours away and my family is still in the NYC area, so I have a cheap place to stay. I will have to save up for a while in order to do this out of pocket so I am considering taking some time off to save up and try again when we can afford to.

My understanding of my history is that I had such a poor response to cycle 1 that I shouldn't even consider that a "real" cycle - my embryologist said the embies were still alive but looked terrible. Then #2, we got pregnant, but lost it (either ectopic or early m/c), #3 was a straight BFN so going in to this cycle, they said I was still in the 1 for 2 or 50% area, but its now not looking so good....not sure what to think.

Thanks. I am trying to look forward, which I am usually better at. I really thought this one was going to be my .

SUe--I am so sorry but don't count yourself out until the beta. I know you are mostly prepared for a BFN ahead of time. I would definitely recommend another 2nd opinion or two. I had one after IVF failure number two. I did decide to stay with my RE but we talked extensively multiple times before I signed on for another cycle. My only? about your RE is why he doesn't grade your embryo's. I think that is standard..just telling you they are good, average, better than average doesn't seem right. I had embryo quality issues once, egg quality issues another time and each cycle I came out with more answers about myself. ALso, I believe from so much I've read is that PGD is the ticket for many multiple failures and is almost standard after mulitple failures because the embryo's can look "good, great, average" but they'll never implant if one of the chromosomes are missing. Our first IVf we had only one chromosomally normal embryo. We put in three in case there was a false negative. This is what has lead us to put in so many embryos. I have a one in 6 chance of them being chromosomally normal even with good "grades". One took this time out of six!!! I think you did everything possible this cycle with resting over the holiday wknd and IVIG. I hope you find the answers in New York. It wouldn't hurt to interview them while you save some $$. Your RE also shouldn't care that you requested your chart for another opinion even though you work there. I am praying you get a surprise tomorrow. You have been a wonderful cycle buddy.

Update

My bleeding (pink cervical mucous) has officially stopped. I am so relieved. I am feeling my ovaries like never before. It hurts to roll on my side at night because it feels like they are pulling. I had OHSS with my ET. I slept on the sofa some last night. I am having a little nausea and hoping that is a good sign for a strong beta#2 on Tuesday. It has been a long weekend with a little worry in the back of my head with the bleeding, but I have watched a few movies and done as little as possible.. Not sure how long that life will last.

Thinking about all the May ladies.

There are plenty of women who have not "felt" pregnant that have gotten beautiful BETAs!!! I can't wait to hear the results of the HPT!! for two beautiful lines!!

Thanks Stephanie. I'm glad to know others who are struggling. It good to feel like I have company. I know this sounds nuts but I wish my ovaries still hurt b/c I thought my ohss was supposed to get worse if I was pregnant. Gee never thought I'd want more pain Well it isn't long now for both of us.

I'm so glad the bleeding stopped. I too had to deal with OHSS (mild) and I'm just starting to feel better. I felt like I could feel my ovaries floating around especially when I walked. Now, I only get a twinge every once in a while. Can't wait to see your 2nd beta.

Oh and I'm nausea too. I was just getting a little nauseous at night but now it's at random parts of the day. I think it's a good sign!
