Lining issues

Has anyone had lining issues and been able to thicken it? Or gotten pregnant with a thinner lining?

For all my fertility treatments, my lining hasn't been over a 7. My estrgoen levels have always been good but they just don't thicken my lining up like it should.

I have tried estrogen patches, regular acupuncture, moxibustion, blood building herbs, homeopathics, as well as some other things like putting heat compress on abdomen at night, soaking feet in hot water, eating more red meat, not drinking cold beverages, keeping socks on feet, etc.. I am currently trying electro acupuncture along with some other herbs prescribed by my naturopathic physician but none of this seems to be helping.

I am going to try wheatgrass juice and flax seed oil next (a suggestion from someone on another board). I am up for trying anything at this point, I am currently going through a FET and would love to have a lining of at least an 8. Any other suggestions? (I'm desperate)!

Hi Jen,

Just wanted to let you know that for my last IVF my lining was 7 and I am 11 weeks pregnant with twins. My RE never even made a deal out of my lining at all. He said it was fine. Oh, I did take baby aspirin after the transfer up until 10 weeks, but I think everyone at my clinic is told to do that. Good luck!

Sarah

i was going to suggest baby aspirin too ... that is supposed to do something positive for your lining. i also had problems with my lining throughout all of my treatments, but i think if it's a 7 or above you should be okay. ask your RE about the baby aspirin though.

Does your RE monitor your estrogen levels during stims? My old RE didn't, and my lining was never above a 7 or 8. My new RE did, and when my E2 levels came back low and my lining was on the thin side, he added Repronex to my protocol. The E2 shot way up and my lining thickned to about a 12 with a triple stripe. Who knows if that would fit in to your protocol, but maybe you could ask your RE. Good luck!
