Hi Ladies,
Can I join you?? I too am pretty far behind with the June ladies. My hubby and I decided to wait until my next cycle and just give it a try o' natural!

My next cycle starts around the first week of June and I will be starting my BCP's ( i think ) for that cycle. I still have not received full confirmation from my RE about that, but I am pretty sure.

Also, my husband and I are considering integramed ( shared risk) Any of you considering that or considered it. My RE is giving us a 60% chance at IVF because his sperm count is good and my uterus is according to her "beautiful" I don't have any other problems other than a low count of eggs. SOOOOOO should I even consider doing shared risk with my odds???

Please keep me posted on your next steps.

I am trying to work out, but I live in FL and working out in 95 degree weather is a killer. I have been eating better and running on my tread mill.

I was in the June IVF group but I to was kind of behind everyone so I thought maybe we should give July IVF a try ...
Our clinic has a shared risk deal but we havent really considered .. Our insurance cover's pretty well and Im not sure you can do the shared risk with insurance ? I dunno

We should be starting BCP's right around the same time !! How exciting, its so nice to go through things at the same time as someone else ... I love all my friends to death but they have no idea what infertility is about or what if feels like ...

It sounds like we will all be starting BCP's around the same time!! Sooo exciting! It feels really far away right now, but I am sure it will go by quickly.

My clinic does not do shared risk and we don't have insurance coverage . But we do have coverage for the meds so that is good. If we had shared risk I think we would have done it that way.

Natalie, I started accupuncture 3 weeks ago, after reading the other ladies posts about it. It is supposed to increase blood flow to the ovaries and uterus and help with the ET and ER. I also hear it helps with egg quality. It is sooo very relaxing. I did not even have regular AF cramps this month, and usually they are terrible for 2 days. So I am a big advocate.

How does accupuncture work ?? Where do they put all those little needles ? Does it hurt ? Is it expensive/covereage by insurance ? How often do you go ? Sorry about all the questions, but maybe ill check it out

Hi Girls! I originally joined the May IVFers, then the June IVFers and neither of those panned out for me. My last cycle was a disaster. I had implantation that was unfortunately abnormal. My betas were low and didn't double but they wouldn't go away either. We still don't know if it was just a m/c or an ectopic. However, I ended up getting a shot of methotrexate so I had to take 3 months off. My beta is now zero and I'm cycling normal again...thank God. So we are scheduled to do our next IVF in July. Planning to start BCP about May 28-June 5. I can't believe I'm moving on to cycle FOUR!! Oh lordy the money we have spent!!! I'm rejuvinated by our last cycle even though it totally blew at least we had some strange level of success. Anyhow, I'll be getting on the boards a little more when my time nears.....just wanted to say hi to my cycle buddies! Lyn

Sorry that you got pushed into July, but hopefully we will all get our !!!

Kelli - in regards to the accupuncture, she puts the needles in all different spots from my belly, to my ankles, arms, ears etc. It does not really hurt, but some needles you can feel more if they are in a tender spot, others I don't even feel at all. Just make sure you ask if they specialize in fertility. Some even take insurance, so check your plan. Oh, and I usually go once a week, but they suggest also going right before and after ET.

If it were me, I'd call. I noticed on your signature it say's, IVF with PGD - what's "PGD" ?

KELLI4- My clinic still has to get back to me. I emailed them as well so perhaps I will know better within this week. PGD is Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis. Since I've had many m/c's, at ER, they do an embryo biopsy.

KELLIF4- PGD can be a risky procedure--after all it is a biopsy of the embryo and they don't test the embryo for everything--only the obvious ones. I've been procrastinating on it, mostly to build funds as well as figuring out more information. PGD can only be done with IVF since they have to do ER and develop them into embryos and then take a biopsy. There's added expenses with PGD.

I'll be praying for BFP's for all of us as well and healthy pregnancies!!!!

Rosie- How did you find out your insurance covers acupuncture?

Kelli- Thank you for the info on shared risk. I think DH and I are just going to try this one and see how it goes.

On another note my AF has not come yet. After my HSG I have been having like these twitches in my uterus. Is that normal? Plus I am never late. My boobs get sore right before and they are and I feel like my AF is coming, but nothing! Any thoughts? Should I call my RE or wait a few more days?

Hi ladies! My IVF will be in July as well. Should be starting BCP's in a couple of weeks unless we end up preggo this month. Last chance to get pregnant the cheap old fashioned way! Good luck to all of us.
