Hi everyone, I'm new at all this...blogging & forums & IVF!!!
I'm 43!! and doing my first IVF, I'm doing the mini Lupron protocol & follistim pen, I started the cycle 8/29 have had a few bw & us and all looks good so far, I have 5 growing follies so far, I still have a few more days of stimulation, my week of IVF is next week!!! Sept 8 to 13!!!!! my nerves are shot....my husband has 3 kids from his first marriege, however I have never been pg, and no definite answer as to why ...we had IUI earlier this year with no luck and because of my age our RE suggested to shoot for IVF...please send all advise posssible and keep me in your prayersthanks to all

Lovelyrose - Sorry to hear about your BFN. Hang in there and when you are ready try again! Sometimes it takes a few times for IVF to work so try not to get too discouraged. Next time you will be more relaxed because you know what to expect and that may be all it takes to get your BFP!
Anj - Great to hear your beta doubled! I'm sure that makes you feel wonderful to know all is going well with your pregnancy! Angelasmara - Congrats on your BFP! Great beta! Wishingformiracle - Good luck with your cycle! I think you have a much better chance at getting pregnant through IVF than IUI. I have endo and was not able to get pregnant...DH and I have tried for over 4 years. We finally found out I had endo and I had to have surgery. We tried naturally for 6 months and I still didn't get pregnant...so we were told IVF was our only option. It took 3 tries, but it finally worked for us! We switched RE's after the first two attempts and I really think that is what made the difference...I'm not so sure my old RE new what he was doing! Good luck! Tisha - WOW!!! Triplets! Congrats!

Dlrust, when you made your OB appt, did you tell them you got pregnant through IVF or did you just tell them you're pregnant?
