Welcome Taka.

Looks like we are getting to be a big group for August. I sure hope we all have when the time comes.

We have to do ICSI as well, was kinda surprised, but I guess it gives much better odds, so we will do it.

Good luck!

Hello Everyone!

I am SOOOO happy to be joining everyone in August!!

We were scheduled for March but were greatly disappointed when my DHs final sample to freeze was waaay low so the Dr. told us we would need to do a TESA procedure "just in case." DH freaked out and went on a Crazy vitamin regimen for 3 months and his total count went from under 1 million to 24 million!!

So we are blessed...that'll save us 6K!

should arrive next week so I start BCP then.

August will be here before we know it! to everyone!

Hey girls,
I want to join but I'll likely be only in the BCP/lupron stage in August. Or maybe I'll stim. Not sure since AF does her own thing sometimes. Just got back from a one day workup at CCRM. I think we'll go to COlorado to cycle this time. Waiting on some bloodwork to finalize the deal.

Yay Josee!! (don't know how to get that cute little mark in there)
I'm so glad everything worked out for you at CCRM...I was lurking on your Super Informative blog and it sounds like your dealing with a Dr. who knows what he's talking about!

Thanks Missy! I just read your post about your husband's reaction to a possible TESE and the vitamins. That is hilarious! Glad he can 'participate' in the taking of pills part of the process anyway!

So what's rockin' over here?

Hi ladies,
I wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I was scheduled to do IVF in June .... but it was postponed after the doc saw something on my cervix... and decided to do a lap/biopsy at the same time.
The lap went fine. Just some tiny amount of endo, tubes open, etc etc. The best news is that the cervix area was not cancerous. Anyway, I'm glad to just have that out of my mind, and am preparing to do IVF in Aug.

Josee - I also snuck over and was checking out your blog. You are such a wonderful writer!! OMG, you had me cracking up, and just wanting to read more! Thank you!

Missanry - I'm sorry you had to postpone too... but it sounds like you have gotten awesome results from the vitamins!!! I'm so glad for you!!

ARoberts/AHerbert - Sorry that you were also postponed. It seems like August is going to be a group of ladies who were postponed!! LOL. I hope your surgery goes well ARoberts!

Let's all hope that our patience and persistance pays off this time!!!

Maggie

Thanks for the compliments. You have me blushing!

:-) It is nice to see some activity from the august girls so early!

So a few of you are going on BCPs in a few weeks. I was on Desogen for my first two cycles. That stuff ruined my life for three weeks each time. If you say BCP, my big strong husband starts to tremble and cringe. LOL.

Maggie- I'm sorry you were postponed, too, but its great that your lap went well. So many girls that got postponed!

Josee- I've been on Desogen for a few days now, since AF is irregular and my RE can plan my cycle better, and I have been a nut case! I've cried every morning for the past 3 days for no reason, and I'm not an overly emotional person at all! I can go from crying to screaming in 0-4 seconds flat! My husband is so scared of me right now! Last night, one of those really sad animal planet commercials came on, the kind with all the sad looking injured animals....I started bawling! LOL, I can't wait to be done with these pills!

Amy, it would take me about 2 weeks to get the peak of my evil nasty meltdown crybaby ickiness. Tell him to hang on! Not all bcp does that. I am switching brands to protect my marriage. LOL. But don't worry, none of the other drugs do this to you. As far as side effects, BCPs were the WORST!

Hey KellyJo, I am seeing Dr. Schoolcraft. When I was there, the blood draw lady said she sent her own daughter to see Dr. Surrey. I think she thinks Dr. Schoolcraft has a more data centric bedside manner (less nurturing). Schoolcraft is also the medical director of the entire ccrm. So that can be seen as a plus or minus. And a few people I know liked Dr. Gustafson a ton. VinJosmom on here saw Dr. G and got her bfp last month. :-) I think their advantage is an amazing lab with the best technologies. And it seems like the doctors all share ideas and research. Also, it appears that you don't always get your own doctor for retrieval and transfer. They prefer to do their own but it isn't always possible. hope that helps.
