Nese - like hopeful said small quantities are fine for soy milk - I think none of us are having that much anyways - so we all are OK.
JennM - ask the Nurse in your clinic if they can give you some medications for free. Sometimes women with successful IVFs give the medications which they have not used to the clinics. MY RE had ordered medications for me last time and I have enough left over except for HCG to use for the 2nd try. If my IVF is successful I will also give my left over (unopened) medication to the RE so someone else can use them. So just ask them you never know. Have a great day ladies ....

Hi everyone,
I was planning IVF starting meds in Sept. I just got my bloodwork back (thyroid studies and FSH) on Monday. I was shocked to find out that I have borderline hypothyroidism. My TSH was 4.8 and my free T4 was low. I am starting synthroid and am nervous. I hate having to take meds but have to do what is necessary. I can't believe that it was normal a year ago and just a year later....Anyway it will take several weeks to see if the dosage is correct and bringing my levels down appropriately. I am upset because I may not be able to do the Sept IVF cycle. My husband travels and had a very difficult time making arrangements to accomodate Sept IVF, so that may delay us further. I am so frustrated....

Vanna - I hope everything works out so you don't have to wait too long.
Temika  . It is so exciting to get underway  .I met with RE today and we will not be changing protocol. Since we had success with it last time. The one thing we will change is possibly going for a 5 day transfer . We will see how many embies we have to work with. I can't believe it I start Lupron a week from Sunday  on 8/17. Supression check will be on 8/26 then I will find out what day I will be starting stims! we will all be  soonSamantha

 showed up 2 days early.I'm be starting Lurpon on Sept 2 ER maybe Sept 15 ET maybe (3day) 09/18 or (5day) 09/20 Beta 09/29 praying for that

Looks like we're all sort of on the same schedule...I start my lupron on 8/15 and then follistim and repronex on 8/30...my RE said possible ER between 9/9 and 9/11 with hopefully ET between 9/13 and 9/15 - I'm soooo nervous!! This is my first time with IVF - I'm just anxious about the hormones I'll be taking - can any of you give me some idea of what to expect with these hormones? I'm just wanting to prepare DH in case I get a little "hormonal" - HA! HA!
Seriously though - any comments or feedback of your experiences with either of these hormones would be most appreciative. I can't tell you how comforting it is to find you wonderful ladies and know you are going through the same thing!! I pray for everyone!! Have a great day and weekend and keep the faith - Kim

Hey Samantha - I start Lupron on the 17th and stims on the 25th. I go in on the 2nd for my first u/s to review for ER.
I say all this and love having a plan be so close, but it could very easily be cancelled due to any findings they have in my hysteroscopy on Monday. Hopefully it goes fine and no major findings Happy Friday everyone! Oh - side note - I figure that all of our 2WW won't be so bad after all since we'll have the olympics and all the new seasons start for TV (Grey's, House, Lost, Office, whatever you're into ...) Our Tivo's will be buring up!
