welcome mleonard -- I read some of your posts on the aug/july forums. Happy for your good news -- did you qualify for insurance coverage or reinbursement if ivf doesn't work the 1st time?

If you are working out you should check with your Dr because some working out cycles can hurt your changes, I was told walking , yoga, little workouts where better than the toning , high enegry workouts arent good if you are trying to get pregnant regardless which way you are trying to become .

We are a little early maybe so it won't get updated daily. But in 3 weeks, this list will be going CRAZY!

Most important thing is to keep your signatures up to date. That provides the listkeeper with all the info. If it isn't in the siggie, it is too hard to keep in the calendar. You'll see, this works great. Especially when things start cooking in the 3 weeks.

Hey there looks good to me ! As far as my IVF cycle I know what meds I am going to be on and I have got most of them from doners they are giving me (follistim Pen Progesterone Menopur and Lupron) I don't have my doses or schudle yet . and I might have a donor for a little more of my meds , I tell you that helps more that they know they are such life savers I am even making a scrapbook with my IF journey and I am keeping pics of all the one that I have meet on this forum some have sent books and I took pics of the books and put them in there alond with my med donor . I know lame LOL! I just want our childeren to see evey one that helped or was a part of this journey !

is it weird to be happy to be on this list? other than my husband and mom, ive felt so alone with this lately so i cant even begin to put into words how happy i am to have come back to this forum to be around all you wonderful people again. im tearing as i type this! geez someone smack me! lol

Can I join you ladies? I spoke to my new RE today and it looks like we are going to do an FET. I did an HSG a few weeks ago (can we talk about painful? I literally screamed in pain on the table!) and found that my tube is clear. I am so happy not to have to have surgery again!

I am excited to cycle with all of you. I am waiting for to come to do some testing and then will start things up in late August/early September.

I am glad to be here for Take 4.

JenBowes- I was going to respond to your BCP post. I am usually the oddball, so this is appropiate. I usually read the posts on my lunch hour at work, dial-up at home is too slow. So I am not necessarily a quick responder.
But I don't do BCP's either. It's just something my RE doesn't do. If AF's come like they have been, I expect to start Lupron mid to late Aug, then the fun begins.....

I have my post-op appt in a few weeks, so I'll know more then. But the way things went previously, I am guessing he'll let me try again in Sept. Hopefully RE learned from the last cycle and will tune this one in.

anyone mind if i vent a little here?

some days you should just stay in bed!!! lol i was already feeling particularily alone in all this last night when i posted here and coming to work today didnt make things any better. my closest girlfriend at work is pregnant. shes only about 2 months along and knowing this news over the past few weeks has been an experience. ive been able to avoid other pregnant women for the most part, but this is a challenge! she would always come to me with every little minor detail and after crying here at work and a few hours after that, i decided i would try to have a candid conversation with her, she knew/knows my situation and usually is the sweetest person in the world, so i thought if i could talk with anyone about how upsetting and uncomfortable it was, it would be her. ive also told everyone here in my immediate unit so there was no rumors going around as to why i have all these dr appts. so in everyone attempts to be nice and not throw her pregnancy in my face, ive also become the outsider and am feeling like a leper today. i even heard one of my girlfriends who was walking with my friend say shh jens right behind us. talk about a no-win situation! my friend is avoiding me more and more, i dont think ive been able to convey my true self across to her as much as i want to, and i know soon enough everyone else in this building is going to be over here going gaga over her.

any words of wisdom out there for me? how the heck am i gonna get thru this?!?! shes only like 9 wks along and its already a crappy situation! do i just intorvert myself to protect myself as much as i can? i just wanna crawl back in bed and start this day over!

Everyone is different. Personally, although it reminds me of my struggles, if I like the person who is pregnant, I just remind myself how glad I am that not everyone has to deal with what I do. I've found it easy to separate my feelings of despair when it comes to people I appreciate. I have more annoyance for strangers. BUt that is just me. That sucks that they whisper. That isn't cool at all. I think if it was happening to me, I'd clarify that I am happy that her dreams are coming true. But ask them to excuse me if I ever momentarily look quiet or withdrawn or something because sometimes I am just reminded of my own situation. I wouldn't want people to feel uncomfortable talking in front of me. That would make me feel even more 'excluded from the club'.

Yup. Denver was cancelled b.c I'm now 2 weeks late which gave me time to ponder more on my situation so we've changed our minds and staying here. It basically comes down to me being terrified to use my last round of ivf. The plan all along is to save it for donor cycle if need be. My thoughts on all this change all the time. This has been extremely difficult decision but for right now we are planning on staying here and give it one more shot doing an FET (which I've never done). My better get here soon before I change my mind again

Jen. How annoying..the whispering. I'd say the more you can focus on work and not on her, the better. Easier said..I know. Maybe keeping yourself from situations when everyone is making over her and her pregnancy, may help.
