Sept IVF
Hello Everyone
I was in the June Thread but I got BFN, so I'm taking the summer off and going to start again in Sept. But over the summer I will be taking Royal Jelly and some other treatments to improve my chances for the next ivf cycle.....

Hi! We are also going to start in September. This will be our first cycle and I am not quite sure what to expect. I am a little scared.
We decided to wait until Sept b/c we have so much going on in the summer. I want to be mentally and emotionally prepared. What week do you think you will be doing your ER? I am looking at the 2nd or 3rd week.

Me, 32- pcos, only one working fallopian tube DH, 36- ok count, 0% morph, slightly low motility  - yellow lab, GingerHSG- left tube ok, right tube "not found", 2 uterine defect fillings found 2/27-had Lap and Hysteroscopy. 2 polyps removed and some scar tissue. right tube ok, now left tube blocked. 6/17- planning on IVF in September waiting for  to start bcp, maybe wk of 7/217/20--- started on bcp, scheduled for another hysteroscopy on 8/15 Starting Lupron on 8/22, stopping bcp on 8/29 Starting Stims 9/4 ER 9/18-------9 eggs retreived all mature and fetilized!! ET 9/22----Transfered 3 embies 10/2 Beta#1 = 114  10/6 Beta#2 = 488  10/9 first ultrasound

I'm so sorry about your bfn. I'm taking this month off too, before doing IVF#3. I also have started taking 2 tsp royal jelly (it's awful tasting but I have nothing to lose) and I ordered the Natural Cure to Infertility from Amazon (have yet to receive it). My RE said there is a 30% chance of a rebound pregnancy this month, so I'm doing everything I can to make that happen! I'm using OPKs (temping never worked for me) in addition to the royal jelly and "natural" cures. I'll be thinking of you. Enjoy your summer - I can already tell that I feel more relaxed and peaceful without all the hormones and stress of IVF. Keep me posted!

I'm doing the same RJ but they say you need to be on it for about 2 to 3 months, and I got the book I bought it at Borders and I'm going to do acupunture. So come Sept I will be prepare for the cycle.
So all of us lets keep it touch over the summer and keep each other in our prayers

I am also planning to take most of the summer off and start my 3rd IVF in late August/early Sept.
Can you tell me more about the book. What is the title? I was considering the book The Tau of Fertility by Dr. Don Tau. My MIL saw it on TV, but Im not sure if it is appropriate. I really want to find something that discusses appropriate food and possibly supplements. I have never heard of Royal Jelly either...

Beta 6/13/08 July 3rd. Follow up with RE and appt. for 2nd opinion at another RE. IVF #3 Possibly November?

The book is called the Infertitly Cure. by Randine Lewis. You can also look on Village.com or ivillage.com it has information on the book. The book also explains about the royal jelly. If you look on this website and search the threads their is one about royal jelly and this book. Thats how I found out about it. For the royal jelly to work you have to be taken it for at least 2 months so thats why I'm doing my next cycle in Sept. Now I'm waiting for my
to come so I can start preparing myself emotional and physcially for Sept . Keep in touch

Yeah!!!!!! I can't believe there is finally a September thread. I am shooting for a Sept transfer. It is so cool to start getting to know the ladies I will be cycling with.

I'm august thru october cycle
welcome ladies I will be doing ET 8/08 and staggered ivf with transfer in October ??. I will get my calendar on monday..scheduled for1st phone consult with RN SO happy to find support!

I will also be planning IVF for September starting the BCP in late July or early August. I am new to all of this so I am trying to learn. This will be my first IVF cycle.

Welcome Amy! It's so scary the first time. I was kind of thrown into the IVF thing b/c we got in a study. I was so clueless the first go round. I didn't even kow there were forums/support like this. I'll be glad to help if I can. Looks like we will be buddies... I should start BCP soon!!

Hello Ladies
How is everyone doing so far? No matter how many times you do IVF it is always a little nervous. This is my 5th time doing this in Sept. But I'm trying different things, Royal Jelly and Acupunture. From some of threads I have read a lot of people are using one or the other or even both. Who know at this point besides praying , I'm willing to try anything. Lets keep in touch.

Just got my BFN today from FET #2. From past visits, I expect my RE will tell me we can try another IVF cycle in September. No more frozens left, so time to harvest more. He doesn't do the BCP's, but likes to have it be a two month process. Since I can't get in to see him until July 23rd, I figure end of August will be my month to start Lupron and hopefully ER mid September. At least that's my guess.
