Okay, who out there has experienced this ridiculous belly bulge from IF drugs? I have been on Clomid for 2 months and have gained 10 pounds and a huge belly. I have always been for the most part small and petite, now I am gaining and growing way too fast. I was hoping to hit this weight when I had a baby in my belly! Any suggestions or solutions to the belly bulge?

Hey I hear ya....I have had the same problem...I had it with Clomid and injects. I don't know if I am just eating more from stress or bloating from the drugs. All I know is that I am more careful about what I am eating. If I to many carbs I really feel more bloated and so I avoid some of those foods....I have just felt this is practice for getting pregnant!!! Good LUCK!!!!

with you ladies on that, at Dr office the nurse said you have 152 lbs, i said who? she said you of course, that means i gained 22lbs in the past 6 months, i still cant believe it, but it will be well worth it in the end, at lease thats what i keep telling myself

Yeah count me in too. I'll be going back to weight watchers in a few weeks. I gained about 12 lbs and I need it to be gone for the next round. I don't want it to keep adding up with each cycle. Although I'm totally with you .. it will be worth it in the end. Hugs!

I am with you Devan I do not want it to 'add up'. I had gained 10 lbs last go round. I have managed to lose 7 so far. 3 to go before my FET in Sept! I have found just writing everything I put in my mouth down each day helps a bunch.

OMG!! I thought I was alone!! I was starting to second guess myself thinking that maybe I'm just eating more. Who would have thought the drugs would put weight on us, huh? I look 3-4 months pg with a HUGE belly. I just stopped injections 2 nights ago b/c of cancelled IVF cycle. Will I lose it?????

I gained 10 punds during my first cycle with injectibles. Nothing fits!! Right now I am on a diet before my next cycle, but mrsrodgers is right, this ispractice for when we get our huge baby bellies!!

Since I had my m/c in January and had 4 cycles of clomid since, I have gained 15 lbs!!! My tummy looks so bloated. Glad to know I am not alone. This does suck. I think I might try WW too. I do exercise, but that doesn't seem to be helping.

I just found out I was PG so assumed (kinda) that was why my jeans are so darn tight! I'm 5'4 about 120 (though don't know now) so not a big person and couldn't figure it out. Then started thinking that I've been eating out too much...perhaps the clomid? I'm only 5 weeks along.

omg! i thought there was something seriously wrong with me. i did the first iui cycle in may 2007, then another in june. then first ivf in oct 2007 and another in jan 2008. i have put on 30pounds since then and my stomach is bloated!!!!!!! nothing helps. no clothes fit - it sucks!!! i just bought a treadmill to work out at home cause i am too embarrased to go to the gym with my big belly... its like i am 7 months preggy only I am not! the irony of it all.

I gained while taking clomid I also had 2 mc's so I don't know which caused it for me but I was eating too much comfort food I joined weight watchers this past october and will be a lifetime member this monday I have lost 25 lbs just wanted to share it really does work and it helped me put some focus on something beides babymaking problems

I recently went out to buy some dresses shirts an I looked like I am pregnant in them all so I brought them so I can wear them when I'm pregnant. I glad its not just me seeing the difference in my body shape.

I am in the same boat as you ladies....gained a few pounds on clomid last winter....shed them while waiting for RE and IVF...now taking IVF drugs and even though it's been 4 days my boobs are so swollen and my tummy seems to be bloating a bit...I too hoped the next time I gained weight it would be from a growing baby...soon!!!

ok im not alone!!! i went to my first ob appt since starting ivf and bcp in late feb - yesterday i gained 25 pds its insane sooo i saw a nutrionist today and am on a preggo diet ...hahaaa good luck ladies
