It's more than likely just bloating. I noticed my tight jeans around 7-8 weeks. I used a hair elastic to extend the waist in my jeans a bit, but, I know they sell maternity bands for just this purpose. I think they are called Bella Bands....they have ads in any pregnancy magazine.

I started feeling the tightness right away. Right around that 4-5 week time frame....because of bloating. After unbuttoning/unzipping my pants at every possible opportunity for a couple days I just went out and bought a pair of maternity pants. The bloating seems to have gone down some over this last week but at times (after I eat..especially) things start to get tight and uncomfortable again.
So go ahead...get yourself a new pair of pants or even the belly band to get yourself more comfortable. I tried out the belly band and really liked it as well. But I haven't bought it yet. It was about the same cost as these maternity jeans and I decided to get them instead because they were just so cute and comfy. |

You'd be surprised how quickly things change. While I didn't gain much weight I seemed to be bloated more often then not. I was in maternity jeans by 9 weeks! There were a little big but so much more comfortable. I gained, lost, gained, lost in the beginning so it wasn't a weight gain issue for me but comfort really was key for me. I'm at about 12 pounds and almost 21 weeks now if that gives you any idea.

Super glad I not the only one who's belly is getting big. I'm also afraid to get on the scale. This is my 6th and final cycle of Clomid. Maybe I can lose after this or be pg
