Okay, I know I posed this question 2 weeks ago, but didn't get many responses. I'm still worried (even though my OB's not) about my fundal height measurement. Here are my measurements:
26 wks= 25 cm 30 wks= 29 cm 32 wks= 30 cm 34 wks= 32 cm Anyone else out there with a fundal height measuring a little low? I asked my OB if it could be b/c the babe seems to be laying slightly "diagonal", and he said probably, but he is very nonchalant and I feel weird about pushing him too hard for explanations. I know he's a great doctor, but I guess I'm a high-strung momma-to-be who needs constant reassurance! Aren't we all?? ![]()

my perinatologist doesnt even measure fundal height - i am not sure how important it really is for me because we have so many ultrasounds.
i am sure if he says it is fine, i wouldnt worry much.

i measure about a week behind everytime. I have bi-weekly u/s to check the baby's growth. She is a bit smaller but the 47th percentile. If they were concerend at all they would be having you get serial u/s and nst's.
And don't be afraid to drill the OB. They need that sometimes. Challenge them ![]()

You are still increasing. Some women carry more to the side than up at the top. If you quit increasing then you might need to worry (unless you can feel it growing around). I would say you are doing great! You are measuring better than I did!

My perinatologist has never done that, so im not familiar with it...i would honestly think if it was a "must" he would do it but he doesnt so try to ease your mind and not to worry too much...

The most important thing is the u/s measurements of the baby. They do measure my fundall height and although it has been increasing both my doctor and I have noticed that I am beginning to get bigger on the sides.
I wouldn't worry about the fundal height ![]()
