Sore swollen underarms
I am 16 weeks pregnant and have experienced pain and swelling under my arms since I found out I was pregnant.I spoke to my Ob about it and he sais there is breast tissue under your arms and it can swell during pregnancy.
Has anyone else had this experience and if so is there any treatment that has worked for you? I would have thought that since my breasts werent sore anymore that this would have disappeared too.No such luck.Its even sore to the touch. Any suggestions would be appreciated as its most unpleasant.

Is it sore in one place or all over? Can you feel any lumps? I am feeling a sore lump under my left armpit that has been worrying me the past few days. I am hoping it is just a lymph node. I'll have to get it checked out to be sure.

I have it also and the only thing that helps is when you deliver, more than likely you will have it every time you get pregnant. Because it's breast tissue, for me at least, when my milk comes in it also ends up under my arms. I've just learned to live with it. Good luck!!!

I had this pain as well. The only thing that really helped me was to buy new bras w/ super padded sides. Also, when I get home from work I immediately take off my underwire bra & put on a sport or sleep bra. I'm much more comfortable that way & the pain has been better the past month or so.
