Exclamation Falling arches

Oh my gosh!! I've finally figured out why my feet are KILLING me lately...I think my arches are "falling". I've been reading online about this with the added weight and the fact that I've been wearing primarily flip-flops. I know that is a probably a big no-no, but since my shoes don't fit anymore, they make the most sense. I guess it's time to head out for some "good" supportive sandals or slides. Anyone got any suggestions on some cute, but supportive sandals???

Also, is anyone else suffering from fallen arches? It's absolutely excruciating! I can only stand for about 5-10 minutes at a time (at least comfortably)...

I am not sure about the falling arches but the added weight thing makes sense.

As far as supportive sandles/shoes, you might want to try Birkenstocks or something like that. My heals are always bothering me. So around the house I wear them the knock-offs that Wal-mart makes. They are the only shoes that really make my feet feel comfortable. They also really support the arches too.
Good luck!

I have been having problems with swollen feet since early in my pregnancy. I have found that Birkenstocks and Crocs are the most comfortable. Birkenstocks, because the straps are adjustable and they offer a lot of arch support. Crocs are a little wider, plus the footbed is supportive. I just bought a pair of Croc flip-flops and they are really comfortable.

my feet have been so swollen - but i stuff my feet into my tennis shoes to keep the swelling contained.

sketchers has supported arch sandles too.

My feet hurt too and I live in flip-flops. I bought the Crocs flip-flops and they have helped a lot.

I love my Teva flip flops. Not , but my feet pronate (roll to the inside) and cause knee pain. I can walk around all day in my Tevas. They have great arch support and the soles are also a lot thicker than, say, Old Navy flip flops.
