Chinese Pregnancy Charts
Hello,
Have any of you used the Chinese Birthing Charts for determing the sex of your child? I heard they are really accurate, but one of my friends tried it and it was not accurate. Can you please try it and let me know? Chinese Pregnancy Calendar Thanks

It was true for both myself and my best friend. Technically, my little girl isn't here to confirm the chart's prediction 100% but ultrasound after ultrasound says she's a girl. We'll know for sure in November.
I certainly wouldn't go out and buy for the sex that the chart says you're having, but it is fun. Edit note: Here's something interesting...I just looked at the chart you linked after posting and it said "boy" for me but then I looked at this one (Chinese Lunar Calendar - Gender Predictions) and it says "girl" just like the other ones I've looked at have said in the past. Hmmm...interesting...

HB: 139 b/m 11/26/08 ~ She's here (FINALLY!)...Happy Thanksgiving to us!

Mine says girl on both charts and that's what they say I'm having. Worked for me. But then again, it's a 50/50 chance that it's right.

We looked at one when I got pregnant and my husband was very happy that it was wrong ;-) Our ultrasounds say that I'm having a boy despite the chart indicating girl.

holly  Me - PCOS, low progestrone DH - Basically perfect 12/15/06 - Natural cycle, lost HB at 10.5 wks D&C. 11/9/07 - Natural cycle. Oral Progestrone, lost HB at 7 wks D&C. 1/19/08 - 1st IUI with Menopur and trigger (1 follie 18 mm) THE ONE LITTLE EGG THAT COULD! 2/1/08 - 2/1/08 - 13dpiui beta 59, progestrone 8.4 2/3/08 - 15dpiui 144 2/25/08 - U/S - 1 strong heartbeat  3/3/08 U/S #2 - still doing well! Graduate to OB 3/19/08 U/S #3 - wiggle and moving! Reducing meds on 3/22. Stopped on 3/29 We're having a BOY!!! Jaden Peter R.

Both of the charts on the sites above say, for me, at age 30 conceiving last November, that I should have had a boy...but I'm pretty certain that our little Caroline is 100% GIRL...considering I'm changing her diapers so often!
Guess there's just no foolproof way to determine...

Hm. All of the Chinese gender predictors I've looked at before said I was going to have a girl. Both of the ones linked above say boy. Our anatomy scan says girl and I have a hard time disbelieving it looking at the pictures.

I tried both times and it was not right either time. There isn't a whole lot to them. They have a 50/50 chance of being right I suppose.

ttc #1 3rd iui using clomid was a charm! ds born 3/5/05 (8lbs 6 oz.) ttc #2 6 iui's with clomid  iui #7 (2/1/08), femara coupled with follistim (3 follicles produced); hcg trigger; progesterone support starting 2dpiui 2/17/08 2/18/08 beta=544, p4=58 2/25/08 beta=7498 3/7/08 1st ultrasound; heart rate=147, measuring 7w1d 3/20/08 2nd ultrasound; HR=182; 9 weeks! 4/3/08 3rd ultrasound; HR=167; measuring 11 weeks 5 days! 4/10/08 no more progesterone...eek! 4/16/08 1st OB appointment; HR=152; all looks good!; 2nd 5/14/08; HR=150; Anatomy scan 6/9/08-IT'S A BOY!!!! 10/16/08-Sceduled c-section!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's here early!!!! 10/7/08 7lb. 1oz. 20 inches

NT Scan 2/21/08 - Everything looks great! 4/16/08 - Gender Sonogram - It's a GIRL!!!! 5/9/08 - Anatomy scan Corinne Julia born September 5, 2008!!
