Hello ladies - question for? When did you start dialating and how long until the onset of labor?

I'm 33 wks and they just did a internal exam and said I was 1 cm. Just curious on that the time frame might be. I'm know it's not the same for everyone, just got me wondering if my little man will be making an early appearance.

I'll be 35 weeks Wednesday, and I had a trip to OB triage Friday nite cuz of contractions, and the doc said I was 1cm dialated. But with my last son, I was never checked until my 36 week appt, and when my OB checked me, I was already 4cm dialated. I just think it depends, cuz it's still possible you can stay 1cm until your due date.

I've actually been taking it pretty easy during this pregnancy, I was having an NST on Thursday when the nurse said I was contracting.

Thanks Chandra - it is so crazy that this all feels so new to me. Do you feel like that sometimes?

I go for my regular appt on Thusday, we will see what my regular ob has to say.

I'm trying to slow my pace down alittle more these days, I'm so used to doing things that I just forget sometimes. I moved my living room furniture and vaccuumed everywhere the other day then I started having some good contractions. My family is always after me to slow down

OMG YES!!!! I feel like that all the time, and everyone always ask me does this pregnancy feel like my last pregnancy, and I'm like my last pregnancy was 13 years ago, I don't remember every detail of that pregnancy but I definitely remember the labor & delivery...LOL

Kim-I was dilated 1cm for a whole month. So, I wouldn't think too much of it right now.
