Would you mind sharing on first heart rate

Could you tell me what your first heart rate was and how many days you were along. This morning I had my first u/s and although I am 6w6d I measured 6w4d with a heart rate of 116 bpm. I am worried because I had a m/c last year and feel this might be a low heart rate again. Thanks!

We didn't get a read on the bpm during the first ultrasound where we saw the heart beating, which was at 6 weeks 5 days. However, the rule of thumb as it was taught to me is that when the baby's heart starts to beat it beats in sync with yours. Then it increases 3 bpm per day.

That sounds about right

Here is some good info I found when I was researching heartbeats because I was worried about my babies too. here is the link to the website, Concerns Regarding early Fetal Development : American Pregnancy Association

and here is the specific info that I know will help you from that site

Week 7 - Gestational Age (Fetal Age 5 weeks)

Generally from 6 ½ -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed. A normal heartbeat at 6-7 weeks would be 90-110 beats per minute. The presence of an embryonic heartbeat is an assuring sign of the health of the pregnancy. Once a heartbeat is detected, the chance of the pregnancy continuing ranges from 70-90% dependent on what type of ultrasound is used. If the embryo is less than 5mm CRL, it is possible for it to be healthy without showing a heartbeat, though a follow up scan in 5-7 days should show cardiac activity.
If your doctor is concerned about miscarriage, blighted ovum, or ectopic pregnancy, the gestational sac and fetal pole (if visible) will be measured to determine what type of development should be seen. The guideline is that if the gestational sac measures >16-18mm with no fetal pole or the fetal pole measures 5mm with no heartbeat (by vaginal ultrasound), then a diagnosis of miscarriage or blighted ovum is made. If the fetal pole is too small to take an accurate measurement, then a repeat scan should be done in 3-5 days. If there is absence of a fetal pole, then further testing should be done to rule out the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy.

I was very worried too, and still am a bit, but trying not to think about it since i won't have a 2nd u/s until about 5 or 6 weeks after 1st.

Anyway, I was 6w4d baby measuring 6w2d, and HB was 111 bpm. RE said it was right on track and released me to OB

My first u/s was at 6w1d and we weren't able to see or hear a heartbeat. The next scan was a week later (7w1d) and her heart rate was 122bpm. It sounds like your little peanut is right on track. I've heard repeatedly that for where you are, anything over 100 is perfectly fine.

My first u/s was at 6w3d and my little girl's HR was 112. I was worried too b/c it didn't seem that high compared to others but I've had a wonderful pregnancy with no complications. Little girl has been right on target and healthy the whole time!

Good luck to you!
