Just curious how everyone finally got to the BFP!

What treatment did you use IUI,IVF, etc etc?

What medications did you use if any?

How many treatments?

How many dpo did you get your BFP?

And what were your first pregnancy symptoms?

I will be going in for my 4th IUI soon, and I would like to hear your success story. TIA

1st +-- clomid 1 dose
2nd +-- follistim/menopur, 1st IUI

1st pregnancy, symptoms, nausea, bfp the day I was suppose to start AF
2nd pregnancy no symptoms, POAS 3-4 days before I was suppose to go for beta at RE's office

I got my bfp the last cycle before my fertility workup. I was on no meds.
It was cd 27 (I was having irregular cycles and not ovulating regularly either).
First symptom--extremely emotional! Crying over the stupidist things!

After four years of struggling with infertility due to male factor. We conceived both times this year naturally. We did use Fertility Blend for both Men and Women from GNC. That's the only thing different this year but at the same time the one thing in common before both pregnancies.

We lost our pregnancy but I'd like to answer your post anyway.

We did one try at IUI and it worked first time, that is the baby we lost. I used Menopur and Lupron for that cycle and triggered with hcg. I got my positive two weeks after with the beta, only because I don't believe in POAS! I had absolutely NO pregnancy symptoms at all, never. I felt tired a lot, but I feel that way a lot anyway! I also had insanely high beta numbers, which later were revealed to me they indicated a chromosomal defect....tests revealed our baby boy had Downs.

My 1st IVF failed although it was picture perfect up to and beyond the transfer...so, we are working on starting IVF #2!

My first pregnancy, I had no symptoms except that I missed my period. I ended up giving birth to a healthy 6 lb. baby boy. (8-01). He was conceived naturally, no meds.
4 years later in '05, we conceived and evertything seemed to be fine but at 7 weeks I had a m/c. That pregnancy was also on a natural cycle, no meds. I just started to have what I thought was pg symptoms but it was m/c symptoms and didn't know it until I started bleed and RE confirmed there was no heartbeat.

My third pg was a complete miracle and a wonderful surprise! I was getting ready to start injectables the next cycle after AF showed up. I called the nurse at my RE's office to tell her that I felt like I was coming down with a cold/sinus and wanted to know what was safe to take before and during treatments. She even said, if you are pg, it is safe too. I told her that I wasn't, there was no way. But low and behold, I was and didn't know it. And it was another natural cycle. and it was about 8-10 days past ovulation. A few days after my bfp, I started to have headaches and feeling naucious. My betas were really high and we were scared to see if there were more than one but there wasn't. My last beta was 166,000. I ended up giving birth to a happy and healthy 6 lb. baby boy in May. He was a month early and spent a few hours in NICU but joined me soon after.

I got PG on a month off after IUI + injectibles (gonal F + HMG)
I was waiting for AF and called Dc to see if I could take something to speed up Af so that I could start injectibles have the IUI before a trip I was planning. He told me he could prescribe the pill but to have a blood PG test first. I did it only to get my prescription and got a .
I don't ovulate regularly but dc said that maybe the meds from the previos month caused this.
So far i have very little symptoms.

We got a BFP on IVF cylcle #2 with ICSI and assisted hatching on a day 3 transfer. My RE transfered 4 embies (2: 8 cell and 2: 7 cell) and were got a BFP with twins. I also went for weekly acupuncture treatments two months prior to my ER.

I had no pregnancy symptoms until week 5 and then I started feeling "sea sick" 24 hours a day until week 9.

My first IVF cycle which failed was a day 5 transfer of 2 blasts with ICSI. Both cycles I had 23 eggs from my ER 19 mature and 11 fertilize. I never had any left to freeze on day 5. We were dealing with male IF.

How many treatments? This was our 4th IUI (2nd with injections)

How many dpo did you get your BFP? hmmm..... let me check.... 12 dpo!

And what were your first pregnancy symptoms? mild nausea, achy nipples which progressed into growing breasts.

I got my BFP by doing injectables without IUI...after we finally got me to ovulate we did everything else naturally!!!
It was my second round of Gonal-f. (I did 3 rounds of Clomid before that but with no response at all).
I found out at about day 14 dpo. I actually was out of town on a trip for work so I took a photo of the positive test with my cell phone and sent it to my hubby.
I am only about 7 weeks along. So far all I have had for symptoms is sore boobs and that is gradually going away. I think I would actually feel better if I had more symptoms because I would know things were progressing but I am not going to complain.

We had been ttc for ~1 1/2 years.
I went through 2 IUIs w/ Clomid and both were . I took a break from IF treatments due to hormonal migraines and the emotional roller coaster, was going to go on to IVF after our break. 2 months later, we got our naturally! The only thing I did was use Pre-Seed.

How many treatments? Luckily the 1st IVF cycle worked!

How many dpo did you get your BFP? POAS 9dp3dt with positive result. Beta 14dp3dt resulted in confirmed BFP.

And what were your first pregnancy symptoms? I don't recall really having any pregnancy symptoms until a few weeks after my beta and the first u/s....then I had bad "morning" sickness (nausea all day long for weeks). I did have dark brown spotting and cramping a few days after the ET and I think that was implantation.
