Tylenol 3 safe??

I know that in early pregnancy tylenol 3 is safe, but I don't know about later. I have a migraine that is getting worse by the minuit. My face is numb and I can't see out of my righ eye. Typical symptoms for me, but usually when it gets this bad I have to take heavier meds. I haven't called the doc yet, but maybe I should, just thought I would check with you girls to see if any of you knew.

I would just call my doc thats what they are there for. Don't feel bad about it, to sound totally cliche, better safe than sorry. I hope you feel better.

Hi--

I also had a few migraines during pregnancy--not fun. My OB prescribed me something, but I forgot the name. It starts with a "b."

Definitely call your doc. I hope that you feel better soon!

I was told tylenol #3 was safe but there was a study that came out a while ago that said that for a small number of fetuses it can be deadly. I would check with your RE and see what your options are. I get migraines too and I hope you find a safe option.

I know it is safe in the second trimester but not sure beyond that.

I know someone who was just prescribed Tylenol 3 with only 4 weeks to go due to a broken rib.

She's high risk, so I don't think her Peri would have prescribed it if he had any concerns.

With my last pregnancy I had severe migraines and was seeing a neurologist who prescribed me tylenol 3 throughout my pregnancy. My son was just fine. This time around I have taken tylenol 3's as well.
