When did you have a 3D/4D ultrasound (or when are you having one)? We are scheduled to go in at 30 weeks. I've heard that 28-32 is the best time, but I'm just worried that she'll be too big for them to see her face. Any thoughts?

she will be. Go as soon as you can. I was at 32 weeks last week and could not see his face as he was all smooshed in there. I started those at 24 weeks and got one every other week until 32 weeks................. I hope you get a good one! They are great!

I went for my first 4-d ultrasound at 18 weeks. I repeated again at 27 weeks. Because I am carrying twins they said that after 27 weeks things can get a little "crowded" in there. Normally they would have me at 30 weeks if I was carrying only one baby.

I had mine at 26 weeks and it was great.

I am having my second one this week at 30 week. My first one was 26w2d. Make sure you are hydrated, but you don't have to have a full bladder. I was just getting over a stomach bug and I think that's why we didn't see him as much, but we still got to see his face. This time, I will try not to eat too much, especially right before and since I am not sick anymore I will be hydrated enough.

i've gotten lucky and had a few 4d's ... my favorite picture by far is the one of him at 31 weeks. you'll be able to see her face unless she's being camera shy and covering it.

Is this something that your doctor ordered or did you request this? My last u/s was at 21 weeks and that is because my baby wouldn't flip over to complete the the 20 week scan. Are they checking on the baby or is it just to see a good picture? Thanks.

Caitlin had her face smushed up against my uterine wall (at 28 and 30 weeks), I suggest going in asap!
