So I saw my baby today and the RE said he/she is measuring a day behind. I did see the heartbeat so that was good and he said everything looked good. Of course I am worried about the day behind thing. Should I be concerened? Any similar situations?

my lil guy i measuring bout 4 days ahead ... but he said the machines are usually off 3 days or soo (ahead or behind) soooo ur babys good!!!

My baby girl started off 4 days behind her bro and is now a week behind. She has behind since day one, I wouldn't worry too much.

I consistently measured 5 days behind the whole first trimester, now my little guy is right on track. My u/s tech said you have to give or take a few days, so I am sure your little one is fine and maybe the doctor measured wrong.

Don't fret that; we were always a day ahead, a day behind, whatever, as long as you're in the ballpark, those machines aren't but so good. One day is made up in, oh, about one day! If in doubt, eat some ice cream is what my OB told me so I did!!!!

I saw another lady on the boards say a few days ago that as long as the baby is measuring within 4-5 days either way you're fine.

My best friend is due with her third baby any day now & this baby has consistently measured a week behind. She was worried, too, until her doctor told her that it isn't a cause for concern unless the baby is measuring 2 weeks or more behind. Your little one is a-ok!

i would say if the doctor said everything looked good, everything is probably good. in my experience, RE's and OB's are painfully honest... if something is wrong or they are worried, they will tell you. as hard as it is, try not to worry and analyze things too much - you had a good appointment today!

Not at all, you shouldn't be concerned. My son was originally three days behind, then started measuring two days early. As long as the measurements aren't more then 10 days you'll be just fine.

I was told as long as the measurements are not more than a week off it is ok..... it is not really your baby that is measuring behind but that the machines that are not completely accurate.... I am also a day behind.... nothing to worry about!

My little beans have each been plus or minus a day or two here and there. Nurse told me the measurements are give and take 4/5 days. Just look at how they measure them with that little cursor thing - not exactly 100% precise.

Well, Your baby is perfectly fine. As there is a margin of 1 week ahead or before . So If the baby is measuring one week behind that is perfectly normal.NExt time he/ she might be 2-3 days ahead of time. Both of my babie had that during first trimester.

I would not be concerned at all. My baby girl was almost a week behind her brothers from the beginning as her heartbeat was not there til the 2nd u/s. She is still a week behind them on measurement scans, but no one is concerned. No worries... everything will be OK :-)
