I agree with Jen and would find out about research. Donating for adoption is also a very selfless thing to do. It's a matter of choice and coping with the decision.
My center has us fill out waivers before the IVF process starts, so we have to let them know beforehand what we want done. We opted for research after a five year period. We will store the embryos for our future use ,but then donate to research of our choice after that time is up. Good luck.

Administration Note: Soliciting members for their embryos, medication or bodies for pregnancy is strictly prohibited.

Post For Struggling Couples

If the decision were mine and I were blessed to have some left over...and after reading the heart wrenching stories on this site...I would post about them and start talking to people who could greatly benefit. Many can even pay you, a fair fee of course. If you go directly through the doctors, it is my understanding that they will turn around and sell them at an insane cost while giving you a small percentage. At least that is what I was told.
Speaking as someone who just did IVF for the first time with my own but had limited, in the future, that would be a viable option for me and many others. Just my thoughts.

Although solicitation on this site is prohibited, there are proper ways to proceed and only you and your spouse can make this decision. Good luck and God Bless.
