Heart Be hopeful

Hi Everyone

I wish to introduce myself as a new and supportive member. I have been married for almost two years and have a beautiful, cheery face daughter.
I came across this forum during my lunch break and knew that i had to put down my thoughts about my empathy towards those who suffer with infertility. I understand (as a woman) how frustrating it is and the hells of yearning for the chances to have just that touch of life created by you. I recall longing to have a child of my own ever since I was a little girl and I waited 22 years to make that dream come true.
During the first stage with my husband (partner back then) we both agreed to have children within the early years of marriage. I had a lot of relatives and friends who would fall pregnant by a click of a finger and thought it would be easy for me too. Though it wasn’t! I had tried month after month after month by the time it hit my forth attempt I then decided that perhaps I couldn’t conceive. I remember the feeling at the time was so tensed and even got to the stage where I refuse to even cope with the normal daily chores. Just washing dishes - I would stand there and burst out crying it was an awful feeling.
But a miracle happened on month 7; I purchased a pregnancy test (for the dredth time) that read positive. I had to look a second time to make sure I was reading it clearly. To my surprise it was a definite positive.

I can only thank God for giving me the best gift I ever received. I will confirm that she is just the most gorgeous little angel I have seen.
To those who have fertility problems my deepest sympathy goes out to you. *HUGS* Please *don’t* give up! I hope you keep trying because miracles do happen and it may happen to you if you stay positive. *HUG* FROM ME TO YOU…………….

Re:

Thanks shb24 I guess it always helps when we share our views and experiences with those who are put in the same position. I remember looking through this site during that difficult period (two years ago)- i was in fact seeking information. I promised myself i'll get back and tell my story to everyone when i have the chance to - so here i am........now it's my turn to turn to those who need advice !!!!!!!

Wink Re:

Gee thanks Rach, sorry to hear about your situation. The best advice I can give is to stay loyal to your hopes. With today's technology towards fertility treatment there's always a second chance. If you have a belief in the person who created you (in my case God FTF I'm Christian) give him a prayer and He will bless you. No matter what *dont* give up just keep trying.
